The convergence theory I speculated the other day for LSE and MOEX price looks weak now since MOEX has passed 400 today running ahead of LSE. So if convergence is the objective, LSE needs to increase sharply to catch up. My low 500s is still my new target on the war end.

Others will be lead by profit/loss statements, balance sheets, existential variables, leadership experience, knowledge and competency. Trading on sentiment, falling in love with a share, blinkers the investor to only focus on feel good positive reinforcement data and ignore the klaxon warnings.

Beware rampers selling fools gold. They are often organized in teams called boiler rooms and are adept at getting the vulnerable to trade behind the curve.

I think the reality is, I am the one NOT wearing any blinkers whereas many on here are virtually wearing blackout eye masks.

It is a strong assumption that a higher spot price will work through to higher sales, but higher profits mean costs and servicing debt has not increased. We could potentially have higher profit with lower gold sp but significant debt reduction or mining cost reduction due to energy price lowering or inflation reducing. We might have a lower profit despite increasing gold prices due to more expensive debt, energy and inflation.

Investors should be informed and be careful of rampers giving misleading profit alerts.

You can not equate gold market spot price to factory gate price.

Those market prices are between traders, not refiners and traders. Whilst the increase in market price may well feedback into increases in factory gate prices, the sums being quoted here will not be real. Investors should be made aware of that fact.

Unless you can identify POLY as a market trader with it's own trading desk in the gold market, an advisory should be given, i.e. the gross for POLY maybe 10% or 20% less than market (before all other costs to mine and make the bullion bar).

If the company announces a £1 dividend payment is abandoned and the money spent instead on urgent net zero implementation and this will continue for the next 5 years, I bet you'd be taking a bit more interest, wouldn't you!!!!!!! Not making any comment on spread size, just the amateur explanation being offered.

I do warn novices to be careful of spread and especially using orders, where spread is one component that can lead to serious differences between expected and delivered.

Troll posts? The company is spending and planning to spend millions on projects that have no functional use and may well significantly damage operations. Do shareholders not have a say in such matters?
