It's another world where you lob a million pound gamble whilst sipping ****tails on your yacht moored in Monaco Bay over the sat phone, I imagine. I suspect the risk is very significantly reduced because there is knowledge there is a split, very soon and the million won't suddenly be trapped or lost in some internal Russian sanction or nationalisation.
But, if the gamble is lost, the person will just have to fall back on the remaining 347 million, and of course the other 30 lots of million pound punts which end up covering the loss 5 times over.
Money attracts money, especially when you can take high risks without even noticing any loss.
Top up anyone?
