Slasher, if you follow the link to the full paper it is an extraordinary read. In keeping with a lot of new published material the whole house of cards is falling down, off the airwaves. Now if POLY were to consider that there is a significant counter narrative they could put on hold spending chasing net zero immediately, ESG is beginning to collapse in the US and beyond. Suspending net zero spending in the company for just one year whilst the resurgent debate on the net zero policy and the need to implement anything comes to the fore, would save the company millions during a challenging time. Furthermore, since the company is aligning with BRICS markets more, those very same countries are not following the net zero doctrine and so POLY doesn't actually need to play to the western gallery anymore with the net zero nonsense. Net zero will be 10s of millions of wasted ££££ with NO investor return. Let's see the company put it to the vote.

For those who like to asses POLY's commitments and their costs against whether they are in fact needed, here is an opinion telling us we don't need net zero policies and therefore should not waste profits chasing the eco dream. Perhaps someone could ask at the next Q&A what consideration the company has given to arguments from people like Dr. Wallace Manheimer and if there is a continuing assessment as to whether millions spent and planned to be spent on needless net zero projects within the company is in fact wasted money which could be better used to reduce debt??????

Actually the current sanctions are designed to try and cut off funding for the war. And judging by the loan note issued by Russia earlier, it's working. If the west wanted to break Russia, it would be a simple act of prohibiting any compent with an origin from Russia, including raw materials. When that is introduced it will ne game over. Some way to go for that though.

You are off your face! The UN will set a price, and Russia will ignore it so it will be recovered through trade tariffs. Russia will calculate a general corporate tax of 1 or 2 % would be economically more sound , and under their masters instructions (China), will pay off the bonds issued to pay for Ukraine rebuild.

Furthermore, all but one was under strict UN mandate and the only debatable one was in response to chemical weapon use by a regime with a history of killing thousands with the weapons. Why didn't Russia get Ukraine sanctioned at the UN? Because Ukraine had no case to answer.

Except, POLY will [should] be split so any war reparations from Russian assets from POLYR will not impact on POLYK. Most investors have written off POLYR and accounted for no future contribution. And in any case, reparations will come in some form of a tax and when applied across all Russian enterprises may amount to a few percent of profit, but over 20 - 25 years to pay back IMF bonds issued to Ukraine to rebuild or something along those lines perhaps.

Of course, the Russian generals can also call it off to try and preserve what is left of the army setting off the fuse back to the Kremlin and regime change. The ones on the ground know they are not yet fighting NATO, only a small number of token arms, and that holding on to territory will be impossible as the supply of kit increases.

I said before the humanitarian route would be the door through which the UN would enter Ukraine, most likely led by a predominantly NATO force. It is interesting how the Russian side seems to be trying to maintain the line that Russian people need some sort of aid. For propaganda purposes the idea that people in the east were oppressed and needed help is to be maintained and the subsequent invasion, demolition by Russian forces and outright oppression of the people qualifies for humanitarian aid. You couldn't make this stuff up.

This may fly with humanitarian access the excuse to have more ceasefires. But the normalization of the invaded land will not stand. NATO forces will enter the unoccupied territory under the UN but a fire fight will follow at some point and Russia will be forceably expelled. Russia will get to finally have the longed for battle with NATO in Ukraine. It will be a very short conflict and Russia will not come out of it well.

I also note, the hyper ramping crew have moved on. Boiler room rise. They will be back, and in greater numbers....

Absolute madness if you think this is going back anywhere near pre war. Still this complete delusion that the world is going to revert back as if nothing happened. The world hs been permanently changed. It will take generations before Russians will be trusted back in the world community.

I'm tempted to whip a couple of grand profit out and put some in Easy J or Whizz, they still have a lot of ground to make up from last February and could see a quick 50% return post war.

280 would be the 'average' price, or tier for a batch. This maybe in to batch 3, 4 or more each with higher budgets or lower volumes. Its the same selling to avoid crashing the price whilst you are selling. It is all more noticeable with a low volume share. You can usually tell by seeing what sell price you get against a bulk order, often much lower than the average as the mm try to fill the order as cheaply as they can for the client.

More like get as many shares under a limit with this amount of budget rather than a target buy price. Defo the escalation is partly to trigger sells, but I would also say the large orders being worked on are based on geopolitical foresight. China wants the world back to order asap so Russia has run out of time. Fair opinion to make and take a hefty position in advance of domicile and split news which will no doubt lead to a rerate by iis. We must just hope that it isn't something like Russian sovereign funds buying up the shares, ouch!

There is a boardroom battle over the split, but from all statements made, it appears it is a minority view against. But the nature if the people involved is such that majority rule maybe bypassed, including tge opinion of the majority of shareholders, and tge split stopped for the benefit of a few. If that happens, this stock will be deemed highly unstable with the company managed against the stockholders' interests and the share will be come worthless. The only solution is to put the proposal to a vote vua a corporate action. The pass threshold can even be adjusted to account for holders blocked by sanctions from participating by assuming they would vote as a block against. It won't matter, even a 60% or 65% threshold for a split would be easy to achieve.
