I'm waiting until retail orders have cleared and bots have done their deep thinking before re-punting the punt, perhaps around 8:20, but looks like buy in -15% then sell on a rebound to -8ish% or the likes. My guesses for today.

Honestly, remove the order. It will most likely not be traded in the first 5 mins as many brokers hold orders back because of opening volatility. You are likely to get hammered on a day like this. Learned that lesson a long time ago.

I understand that the vaccines remain effective, but the efficacy is predicted to be reduced, so we may end up with the efficacy simply dropping from 93% to 89% or some such. However, the critical part is how severe the illness is once contracted with the existing vaccines. Here we may see some eyebrow raising results based on recent findings with the Astra jab helping T cells where the others don't. Astra may dominate as the jab the rest of the planet will have to have in the end.

If the knee jerk reaction is to do what Portugal has just done and reintroduce extensive forced mask wearing for an even more contagious virus than delta, then rapid massive worldwide spread is completely guaranteed, exactly as happened before. Cases began to rise, mask wearing was enforced, cases shot through the roof even with work from home, closed public spaces, closed shops, closed pubs etc.

So sit back with a large KFC bucket of chicken and watch history repeat itself.

Portugal is upping lockdown measures again. Another one chasing the vaccine rather than living with it. Round the circle we go again. Since so many countries in Europe keep on this measure of trying to stop the spread of a virus, then lockdowns are with us until next summer.

And now IAG up 1.72% and TUI up 3.98%. And the moral of the story is, it is like trying to guess the lottery numbers, lol. Looks like my cashin will be a couple of pence below target but I'll be able to get my KFC and book a 4.99 return to somewhere on Ryanair!!!!!! I think Easy J or Ryanair have just put new routes to Croatia, so I suspect the Crotain's will be getting an ear bashing as I type......
