Any referendum is meaningless unless the UN recognise the result.

Putin will stuff the ballot box and then expect BRICS to accept the result and imply then the west is starting a war. He may get China's nod, but he may also get a nasty shock when most of the other democratic countries have their parliaments reject the validity of the referendum.

And err, what's your point? How long will it be before the generals call it a day? They are fully exposed to the real battlefield info. They know the real world reality o the numbers and state of the fighting force. So absolutely, yes, the generals WILL be the ones that call it off. My guess is October.

When the generals finally call it, it will be their independent move and that will light the fuse back to the Kremlin. My guess is this was going to happen under present circumstances in early to mid October. I can't exactly predict the generals moves but even a hard nosed barstand general knows there is a time to call it a day.

If there is to be an attempt to escalate by Russia now, the resistance will only increase and the Russian losses accelerate. My prediction's still, it will be the generals that stop it.

I have never predicted the generals moves, I have always said, "how long will they sustain the losses before throwing in the towel?". I have been mocked for this, and then we had the Kyiv attack withdrawal, now we have the Lushenk withdrawal, next the Donbas and so on. Each counter offensive wipes out more Russians and more kit.

If this is good news, I hate to think what bad news looks like. The debt has interest, takes longer to pay, reduces profit over that time and reduces access to credit if suddenly required.

Where is the evidence the extra processing capacity exists? In theory more can be processed, but is there a contract in place and plant and transport infrastructure in place?

TWO days, TWO days from the planned half year results. Saving this to be included in the half year would have been entirely within the disclosure window rules despite the update not requiring a regulation news update. Companies often try to ramp ordinary news issuing with RNSs to get attention.

They also do it to separate out bits of bad news.

Why have POLY released this update TWO days before all the other updates???

When people start posting the famous phrase "why do they post in a company they have no shares in", you know there is an organized ramp going on and the boiler room is straight out to try and isolate those with troublesome questions.

The RNS disclosure rules do not warrant this particular information to be released only TWO days before a planed half-yearly result. To say this is a forced release is a blatant lie. In fact there is nothing in this information that couldn't have been released in a press release.

I have held since March and posted a number of times, indeed last week, my expectations of selling for a decent profit and even gave a time frame, mid to end October. So again the rampers blatantly lieing.

In fact the organised ramp fest stands out very clearly. To crash the bb with an organised ramp based on a bit of mine progression news indicates to me there is something more suspicious going on.

There has been plenty of talk about the issues of trust and corruption dealing with Russians in the past even before the war. There are plenty of deluded Putin supporters around, especially where the money is, so it has always been a point to look out for that some Putin loyalists within companies like POLY will use the split to exact revenge on 'the west'. I can only say that will backfire massively on them if they are trying to use the split for their own purposes. The people in London didn't get London to where it is and keep it there by accident. POLY RUS might think it is isolated on MOEX post split, but London will take out the business if the Russians try to be clever.

Yes CT, big overspend rather than delaying the project. Released separately, funded by debt. Is this because the increased debt will be offset by POLY KZ or is this a POLY RUS issue? A big question for the split is how debt is distributed between the new two separate entities.

I suspect the rush to get the project up and running especially during a high cost period is to load the cost associated with the Russian located asset on the the current single company so that part, perhaps a larger part, of that increased debt can be passed off to POLY KZ during the split.

That indicates the Russians maybe feathering their own Russian bed and expecting the LSE POLY KZ holders to shoulder more of the burden than they should. I doubt the shareholders in London will accept that. The board should tread carefully as POLY RUS will need to raise money and insurance in the future and trying to fiddle London now will have serious implications later.
