If you are referring to CA I think you are way off the mark.

If he was selling you wouldn't see lots of "O" trade 25k/30k share sales.

That's just not how they would do it. Way too primitive and way too obvious. That will probably just be a PI with cold feet.

I would also suggest that CA will be buyers (rather than sellers at this level) at some stage to support the price as they did when it was down at the 40p level. However I would expect support at a higher level this time (44p/45p).

I though when the latest TR-1 was issued, that leaving their holding at just over the whole percentage mark at 5.01%, left them plenty of room to buy shares (up to 20M) without having to declare it with a further TR-1.

Not stated as fact and only my theory, I hasten to add.

We’ve covered the AM leaving Dubai thing to death now and you have provided no facts to back up your hypothesis and it appears that you are the only one (with the exception of Genghis) that buys into this theory.

In fact, you are disputing what HUR themselves have catorgorically said on the subject.

Maybe HUR is just not for you and you should sell up and put your money into the other investment that has performed so much better recently..

You never seem to be happy with any decision the BOD make and if that was me I would definitely sell up.

Obviously a mistake was made and the “rope” got snagged. It was unsnagged and the AM returned for some remedial repair work to the buoy winch in the calm of Cromarty Firth to await the next WW.

It’s great to get this much information.

What do you want ?

1) The BOD are not infallible. A good example was the warrants issue.
2) There is risk in investing in HUR. The EPS is as yet unproven.

However, I think HUR is a cracking investment and the risk/reward factor is excellent.

The September arrival quote was from the start of 2018, so it's no surprise that it might have moved.

My reading of the situation is the planned works for the Lancaster EPS took longer than expected due to a problem towards the end of the work.

I think that the fact HUR did not even thank DDD in the RNS when the AM left for Rotterdam says an awful lot.

I'm going to take their reply to my question regarding this at face value. You can choose not to, it's entirely your prerogative.

As I say, we've done it to death and have agreed to disagree. My final comment.

Disagree and done to death. Unless you have proof of any works done due to the Spirit deal apart from Genghis agreeing with you then that is just your opinion and no more.

I've asked HUR about it (as you know) and they categorically say that this is not the case and any works pertaining to the potential GWA tie in (it's not guaranteed as GWA hasn't even been drilled yet and found to be a runner) will be done on site at Lancaster.

Agree that hook up in September would have been easier and in July it would have been even better.

The next WW is probably about 10-14 days away, so it would make sense to return to calmer waters to make the repairs to the "buoy pull-in system" rather than sit it out in rough seas.

Even if the repair work wasn't going to take long that WW had been missed (as stated in the RNS).

If it was a major problem then it would have been specified in the RNS.

HUR have clearly stated that they are preparing for the next WW, so if the AM doesn't leave anchorage when that arrives then that's the time to worry about it.

Why do people on here love to create problem scenarios where they don't exist.

Just except the RNS at face value. At least we got one and quite right to.

I thought I'd change the title of the thread that you started.

You have as much idea as the next person on here as to why the AM didn't hook up and are just peddling doom.

Your other setting is ramping it to the rafters with £2.50 SP predictions and the like, so I have draw my own conclusion on your motives.

If there is a serious technical problem, then HUR will be forced into issuing an RNS tomorrow. Otherwise, it's safe to assume that the weather is the issue.

I don't have a view either way on the Bluewater (by the way, it's one word not two) story but I think it's safe to assume that they had staff in the office over the weekend, don't you ?

I'm sure the MMs will drop the price down at the open and during the early trading to clear out those of a nervous disposition and then it will slowly work it's way back up to roughly where we were on Friday (49p-50p).

Hopefully PoO will provide support and it's just a case of waiting on the weather.

If there has been a significant technical problem, then HUR will have to issue an RNS on Monday. I doubt this is the case but we will know either way by tomorrow morning.

I'm happy in my own mind that it's just getting all the weather conditions in line for a long enough period to complete the operation. The operation itself is fairly straight forward, as long as the sea is calm. It hooked up fine in Dubai.

Looks like the WW I highlighted yesterday has shifted already so back to the drawing board.

I should add that the turret was subject to a trail hooking up in Dubai before it was shipped out to Lancaster.

Both the buoy and the AM have been subject to the same change in temperature since the successful exercise in Dubai, so I fail to see how this could possibly be a factor.

I'm sure we will get plenty more interesting theories before Monday.

I'm not talking about this Monday and Tuesday (when it is far too rough), I'm talking about the following week and that's why I included the dates so there would hopefully be no confusion.

Saturday 26th January to Wednesday 30th January dead calm. Waves and swell under 1m for the Monday and Tuesday. Nice.

Not ruling out overnight Saturday but my gut feeling (based on nothing) is that it's off for this weekend.
