Noisey, you would need access to actual American exchanges. Not all investment platforms give that and even if they do, there may well be additional fees plus the nuisance of currency exchange rates which will have their own inbuilt charges.

So, that’s just my take as a very small, personal investor. I am sure Bot will correct me.

FWIW, I have just got the benefit of £450 on board spending from CCL across three cruises next year.

So, we’re down 15% over three months, i.e. since the last results and the gobble, orange one’s musings. Will he invade Venezuela? That would make him no better than Putrid - but we knew that already without such an invasion, i think. His tariffs are working out well for the US economy, I understand - it’s the Amarican people who are paying, as well as with job losses, particularly in Detroit.

Everything is looking up! Particularly Witkoff and Kushner up Putin’s nose………

I hope you’re right about the YE SP, but even at my most optimistic that seems out of reach. We would need nearly 40% increase from where we are, that’s about 8% per week, so is possible!

It’s been very quiet here the last couple of days. Never fear, Bot will be back soon, probably frothing at the mouth over the SP. I just hope he did well in the casino! I think we shall defo struggle to get to his £25 by the end of the year. Carnival full year results due just before Christmas. While I expect them to have exceeded forecasts, it usually means a drop in the SP.

But why is CCL singled out? It dropped 7% while RCL and Norwegian dropped 3.3% and 2.5% respectively. I just get the feeling that Carnival is almost a hated stock and any excuse depresses the SP.

We looked at SAGA, too but because so much is included, it’s quite a lot more expensive, especially as we are not consumers of large mounts of alcohol.

So, Stockperks have agreed OBC for next year? I thought we had to wait for the AGM ratification?

And just to make a good day better, the SP lost more today than it gained yesterday……
