Well, the SP never seems to follow any expected pattern other than upward since it low point so I can’t see any reason it should start now? Just hold on for the ride. Agree about £vs$ though not sure it will happen soon.

Anyway, rather than interrogating AI, it might be worth a question to someone in the investment business or who can read American company accounts which look to me way more complicated than UK ones. What does the latest balance sheet tell us?

At 30th November 2025, long-term debt stood at $24.037 bn, i.e. the bit we’re interested, in down from $25.936 in 2024.

I’m not sure where you get your $28.4 bn from Badger. If you read the report on 4th quarter and year-end numbers, all guidance was exceeded and the outlook for 2026 is very positive. The ratio of long-term debt to assets and shareholder value is decreasing.

I’m not pessimistic. Even if China tries to invade Taiwan……..oo, er, missus

Does not the cap of £150 apply across all products?

Sincere apologies, YR, it is for holding shares, too, but will be capped at £150, as I read it. On their comparison calculator, my monthly fee Will reduce from £16.67 to £12.50 and individual trades will cost £6.95, previously £11.95.

Not sure about that, YR. I am with HL for my SOPP and all fees are down. Max annual cost now £150 from £200, trade fee now £6.95 from 11.95, EFT holding fee now 0.35% from 0.45. They are introducing a £1.95 trading fee for ETF’s.

They were a bit expensive before but this all helps, I think.
