This is the only board you post on, so unless you are shorting and believe what you post makes a difference to the sp (highly unlikely), them what you do is just a waste of time

Tangodog, it's good to have a debate in a polite way about something that is important and different views are always good to hear.

I'm less concerned about the further exploratory works as KOD, where I'm invested far more heavily than here, are taking exactly the same approach. In essence creating a starter mine to get the project up and running whilst they fully explore what they have got.

There is no reason why the same shouldn't happen here in theory. I guess the concern is that KOD probably have the best CEO and senior team of any junior explorer (in my opinion) and UFO doesn't currently have a CEO.

So whilst I'm not bothered about, and don't expect a FID, I am bothered about prevarication and lack of tangible progress to published milestones

The next couple of months are absolutely crucial here

the development study proves that the project is feasible. we have actually kicked off many of the project workstreams already. so, from ufo's perspective, the decision is already made

Used properly these boards can help keep investors informed about the performance of the business and the state of the market. I have a shallow and wide portfolio and I suspect the likes of Lloyd run narrow and deep. So they can help me with research I don't have the time to do. In return I hope they find my comments useful. In totality hopefully we improve each others knowledge and success.

My point about looking for sp Vs business anomalies is something you clearly don't get. It's basically the Buffett be greedy when others are fearful at its max. Ofcourse I don't hold all the shares I bought at 0.4p. I sold a fair few at just over 2p if I remember correctly. I'm basically on a free carry here for a decent six figure holding.

My point about running a business is simple. Everything takes longer to do than it really should and the constant focus is on future cash flow generation not the past

The article specifically references spend moving away from high end purchases not clothing. The Boo target market is the highest spend group. May is usually the month when spend on clothes for experiences begins to happen, which is certainly what website visits is showing for Boo. PLT up 30%!

A business will typically be in start up mode for 3 to 5 years, so that is still where they are.

The different elements of the business have been put together in the right way, been through a soft laugh phase and are actually now only in their first real year of operation.

That is why historical accounts simply aren't important. Outlook and revenue generation is.

As I've pointed out to you numerous times, growth businesses are valued on revenue not profit.

GST are only now in a position where they will even be able to look at revenue forecasts with any degree of confidence because the businesses are still very immature.

Markets are irrational and short term focussed, which kicks up long term opportunities.

You say you bought at 1.45. I was buying at a penny less. And therefore selling for many multiples profit more than you. Because I was looking at an irrational market valuation and you were looking solely at an sp. That in essence is the difference between investing and trading.

Kat, well done you avoided the question, so I'll ask again. Why do you place so much importance on historic information for a start up business.

Check my posting history, on average I post here a couple of times a day, so nowhere near your NINE plus posts a day, so only one of us is obsessing.

The reason the next couple of years are far more important than historic accounts is because GST is basically a start up.

I have plenty of confidence in the SP this year, but it will be driven by future outlook not historics. But actually it's academic because I'm holding based on business performance not sp. So far the business is doing far better than the sp, which shouts opportunity

It's all about the next couple of years and the guidance given.

Any revenue over a million quid would more than justify the current market cap
