Secondly, your point about the SP being the only reference point is complete rubbish. The real reference point for a start up is to track the progress of the business. How much progress has GST made in the past couple of years, it is absolutely massive. None of the currently trading businesses existed in any meaningful form. That is the benchmark for progress imo.

Now that the businesses are up and running is the time to provide initial numbers guidance, as they atleast have something to base them on.

No sensible comnpany provides revenue projections for an initial start up period, they are bound to be so wide of the mark they would just cast doubt on the credibility of management.

GST provided a full update about three months ago, so roughly a month before the start of the closed period. What else would you like them to do.

The same thing happened with Sports DIrect, when Ashley wasn't deemed corporate enough for the scale of the business.

I can think of many worse BODs. People seem to forget that largely the same group of people grew this into a £2bn business, it's not like they are inept

But returning to the subject of tariffs. We know Boo's pricing model is to be above Shein and below the likes of H&M. So if Shein have to pass on double digit tariff charges, how much do you think that will improve Boo profitability

No doubt these rules will come in in Europe and the US at some point and the UK will likely follow.

If the tariffs are close to the top end of the range suggested it will have a massive impact on the business model and profitability.

Anybody interacting with the FCA operates under a non disclosure code. The typical length of time on the GST programme is six to nine months, so something must be happening to extend this.

The sp drop is far more to do with brokers plying their usual trick of dropping an sp to try to encourage volume, despite it being a proven route to failure.

There is nothing either in the volume or news that warrants a fall of 30% below the placing price.

We have all seen how low this sp can go and conversely how quickly it can rise. I don't see any conspiracy here, what i see is main market algos being unsuitable for a business the size of GST

Cheers Lav, I've travelled a bit in Africa but not been to Mali or Ivory Coast. It looks cool.

I remember a lot of the roads outside of cities being gravel as opposed to tarmac so it may add a little time to the journey if that is the case.
