This coupled with Howard Pien's (Chairman) departure last week, Thaxter's (former CEO) demise & the very low SP adds further weight to the speculation (please note) that INDV is ripe for takeover & may be already in talks with a suitor(s). I repeat that this is my speculation at this juncture so (as always) DYOR.

New II in INDV takes 3.98% of company. Good time to buy now that DoJ settled and SP so low. I would expect more IIs to start taking positions in INDV now that DoJ uncertainty has been removed and with any possible takeover momentum in for free.

Love them or hate them, MF have a big following. This is a quote from their recent article (link below): "If this trend continues, I think it’s likely the Amigo share price can return to the level at which it started the year...The stock was changing hands at around 66p at the beginning of 2020."
Read the full article to get the overall view of the analyst but I agree that the SP should easily reach and surpass 66p let alone 50p. As ever DYOR

Large Pharma companies taking over smaller Pharma with an expertise in an area where huge growth prospects is very common within the industry. Current acquisition of Momenta by Johnson & Johnson at a 70% premium to SP is a case in point. "In the corporate space, Johnson & Johnson announced its acquisition of Momenta Pharmaceuticals for roughly $6.5bn in cash to improve its portfolio treatments for autoimmune diseases". INDV is the market leader in opioid addiction treatment and has a SP that does not reflect its true worth. Big Pharma will be salivating over the opportunities afforded by taking over the company for what in effect will be "small change" to them. I speculate (please note the word speculate) that now that the DoJ case is over (US court rubber-stamp to the deal pending) INDV will soon be bought by big Pharma and at a price well North of £3 per share.

Emailed Investor Relations earlier today to check that the court's approval of the deal between INDV and DoJ is basically a "rubber-stamping exercise". They confirmed it is.

"Announcing net zero emissions target and 30% gender diversity target by 2030". A very shrewd mood move by Asfari. This is where the industry/society is & will tick all the right boxes with the diversity/sustainability champions and position PFC nicely for new contract awards.

Given COVID the results look OK. The other major factor negatively impacting is the SFO investigation. SP could go either way today, but at this price PFC is at the very least a hold.

Now that DoJ has been settled IIs will be more likely to buy and hold in this market leader. Evidenced also by an SP that changed little on the results and is now firming (SP currently 144.80) on a generally bad day for the overall market (FTSE down 92).

Market seems to be reasonably satisfied so far given current SP. SUBLOCADE is showing good growth and PERSERIS will grow particularly as marijuana usage widens. Given the world's current understandable fixation with COVID, INDV is performing well. The "real" and IMO very positive update on the company's performance will be post-court approval of the DoJ settlement.

As Mark Crossley states "solid" performance. The half year report treads the difficult path of reflecting reasonable results (given DoJ, Covid) whilst still awaiting court approval for the deal with the DoJ.

Sharecast news: "Jefferies said it expects the focus to return to fundamentals and sees an attractive risk-reward, driven by long-term potential for Sublocade, which is also used to treat opioid addiction. It added that around $350m of available liquidity will likely put increased focus on capital allocation.
The shares were also upgraded by Citi, to 'buy' from 'neutral', as it said they were only factoring in minimal success for Sublocade and schizophrenia treatment Perseris. Citi lifted its price target to 165p from 85p."

I also believe that there is tremendous potential for PERSERIS given the uptake in use of marijuana and derivatives. USA has learned very little from the opioid epidemic with widespread use of marijuana set to fuel a schizophrenic epidemic. Given that scenario there will be (sadly) large demand for PERSERIS.

It always pays to read the source material if possible or at least get nearer to the source rather than take someone else's comment as being a true perspective. Reading through Citi analyst's comment on INDV (reproduced below from "thefly") it is clear that his view is that the closing SP on Friday was in fact under-valuing the likely commercial success of SUBLOCADE & PERSERIS. The analyst has a Buy rating & price target is £1.65 (Jefferies is Buy & £2) but he also comments that "Indivior's "conservative" cash management and "strong" operational performance leave it in "strong position to dominate the addiction area". This may well answer some questions raised here by others as to why the SP is heading (rightly IMO) towards £2. INDV is the market leader in opioid addiction treatment. It has been held back massively by the DoJ and could well now also be in the sights of predators. SP still a long way to go (upwards) over the coming months IMHO.

"Citi analyst Nick Nieland upgraded Indivior to Buy from Neutral with a 165 GBp price target. With the uncertainty of the Justice Department litigation removed, Friday's closing price discounts minimal commercial success for Sublocade and Perseris, Nieland tells investors in a research note. Indivior's "conservative" cash management and "strong" operational performance leave it in "strong position to dominate the addiction area," adds the analyst.

Shares in issue pre-todays's RNS were about 732m so 5m represents less than 0.7% dilution not 7%! 0.7% is about 1p off SP and is infinitesmal given the current situation.

Still a lot further to go over the coming months. Market leader in a growth market. Still a sitting duck for a take-over now that DoJ saga over. IMHO, DYOR

Below is an extract from the MF article:
" Initial drilling activity at its Haveiron project in Western Australia has been extremely positive. There are indications that this could be one of the most attractive gold mines in the world. If it is successfully brought into production, Haveiron may generate massive profits for Greatland, and its principal partner, Newcrest Mining, which is funding some of the development. "
This is both factual & positive for GGP. Any short-term weakness in SP is a buying opportunity. IMHO, DYOR

Nearly a doubling in price target that has already been exceeded by the market. Should be a strong run-up to the half-yearly results on the 30th July.

A mix of regulation, pandemic & "owner" tantrums has wreaked havoc on the SP. However, at this price the upside is far greater than the downside and is a screaming buy. IMHO & DYOR

RNS today details that Scopia further increased holding in INDV from 13 to 14.08%. It looks like they took advantage of recent weakness in SP to consolidate their holding. Everyone now waiting for details of DoJ settlement. These may be included with half-yearly results on 30th July. Will be a very interesting 2 weeks in the run-up to the half-yearly's as investors take positions ahead of the results and DoJ news.
