Last year the POG was bouncing around $1800-$1850!
This week it’s been bouncing around $2000-$2050 that’s a 10% increase or roughly $200 now times that by our 30% of HAV!
30% of20moz is 6m Oz @$200 =$1.2b
Not bad!
Big rerate coming me thinks!

Hopefully that’s true and as Bamps said the Aussie government doesn’t want Telfer to close!
But the uncertainty is what the shorts are praying on!

There is no doubt of the quality of HAV and the potential of the other assets ( this has been confirmed by everyone including the char lady)
So I don’t think a revised MRE will make a massive difference, Shaun has already verbally stated it’s over 20moz mine!
It’s the DTM that is needed, after that if whoever delays production they can be bought out!
Until the DTM is done nothing can be enforced, is this the way all of you read it!
So the problem is this is Newcrest’s department and I don’t think it is high up on their agenda!
Until then the shorts are going to play silly buggers!
All in my opinion and I hope I am wrong!

Just going on numbers!
A lot of people bought in early and took advantage when it went to 30+p and then bought back in at 20s!
Then it went to teens thinking they could make a few pounds!
Then it went to high singles!
Then it went to 6+p and let me bet you there are some who took advantage of that!
So that’s my school of thought!

Also if you take into account most long term holders have three or more separate pots , for different circumstances so by the time it rose to 30p you would have big trading!
But a straight buy out for 30p don’t think so!
All in my opinion of course!

The market does seem to be happy enough!
Are the bloody shorts going to do their usual 3 100k sell’s , lets wait and see!

There has to have been at least one, because he clearly stated ‘ if we get an offer which we think is credible we will put it to the shareholders’ !

On the plus side Newcrest’s assets have been upgraded!
On the downside we could end up with a new partner and markets don’t like uncertainty!

Take Aimsickness for example and now there seems to be a new one project69 , people try to do good stuff and then some people just try to put them down!

Life is good for me at the moment!
I don’t see the point being miserable or nasty in chasing the £!
What’s the point in being rich and miserable ( not saying you are) if this goes well Great, if it slips up Hey Ho there’s always another opportunity just around the corner!
I came from a working class family and left school with not a penny to my name!
Went straight into bricklaying and never looked back!
Put one kid through university and got another doing a masters!
So I am rich enough with just that!
Life is what you make it and you create your own luck !
And if nothing more happens I will still be happy ( so yes I have a happy Gilmore place) !

As has been said many times before, all the buyers who are in are pretty much bullocks deep (apart from small top ups) are not going to buy until big news drops!
All the 10%ers are pretty much gone!
So it just leaves the chuckle brothers ( to me to you) and my missus nephew said ‘ having a short who is borrowing shares could end up a good thing for us , as they can make the price rise quickly in the same way as they made it decrease and creating a artificially high and bang sell the lot’ like it did at 37p !
