I think it’s a multiple of things but that doesn’t help, the times when any problems were sorted out on site are gone!
It’s all about sending emails, there’s no communication anymore!
I know the site managers are on a hell of a lot of pressure and their paperwork is beyond belief!
Someone was saying suicide rates in the construction industry have doubled recently, there was a reporting team on a persimmons site making enquiries!
So I hope we take a step back and start looking at solutions rather than blaming!

I can see us receiving shares in the top hat company, it maybe the easiest way to sweeten the deal!

Interesting appointment, maybe this is the final piece to the puzzle!
Looks like wyloo will be our new parent partner, Telfer and HAV a 100% buyout and Ggp serving as an exploring junior partner!
That’s my view, any thoughts?

The main problem is no one is reading from the same hymn sheet, rules are being made and changed and no one is passing it on to the tradesmen!
If this carries on I can see by the end of the year the workforce being down by at least 10% and of course that means production will be down!
It’s only my view, but they have to get it sorted soon, I already know of at least 10 people who have left and gone into civil’s or private work!
Let’s hope they sort it!

Trading updates are on the ball, houses are being built and selling pretty good round east mids and no sign of slowing!
But I need to ask mannipick and littlehammer and Co, has your sites got as toxic as the ones round here?
People are quitting as fast as they are arriving, one big roundabout!
Me I am too long in the tooth and get left to my own devices, but some of the new NHBC rules coming out are straight from university and don’t fit in the real world!
Interested in others views!

Takeover to reverse takeover!
From mining at Christmas to wether we make it to mining!
From who will own Telfer processing plant to wether a new one will be built and all depends on other drill results in other licenses!
To who has the better board!
All to play for and you have to be in it to win it!

It does look like they are putting this on a back burner ( on the face of things) and if the merger does happen, they will have massive gold reserves and plenty of projects on the go.
Hence my concerns a few weeks ago, but on the other side of the coin Telfer can easily handle the production of HAV and Telfer mine so may well need the both to make it worth while to keep the processing plant profitable!
Maybe we might be reading too much in this, I am not sure!
But trust no one in business, now we have to put our trust in our board and back them to the hilt even if it means a fund raise to keep things going!

Let’s all remember as well, when the 5% was being negotiated maybe it was tongue in cheek!
But Shaun said he would buy 5% of them for $85m and offer a dollar for Telfer!
But which ever way you look at it he’s not afraid of the challenge, maybe he knew he could get the financial backing!
Just a thought!
He could be brokering a deal as we speak:)))

No point spreading yourself to thin !

So we have a MRE 18 months out of date, we have a takeover potential ( maybe more than one) we have a PFS and we have a DTM!
All before Christmas ( and that’s just HAV) never mind the rest!
Should be a deluge of news soon!

Thank you for your response, now for me there’s a couple of questions to ask about Northern star?
Question 1 . Now as it looks they would be the perfect partner in HAV and Telfer as they would need to turn around their profit margins, but why and who got them to that position?
Question 2 . In my own mind I don’t think Newmont needs HAV as urgent as us , especially looking at what they will inherit from Newcrest and there low AISC, they can put it on hold for a year or so !
So this being the case could it be possible we could increase our % at a price and Northern star take the rest on!
That’s a deal I really could look forward to and I wonder if that’s why Shaun had the European road trip!
Just a thought!
Not sure if this is in the realms of fantasy, but as Shaun has said all avenues are open!

In my travelling back a motley fool blog flashed up, I normally don’t read them, but this one was doing a comparison between Australia’s two biggest gold miners!
Newcrest vs Northern star!
The big interesting thing for me there was the AISC comparisons!
Newcrest was $732
Northern star was $1555 on average based on Fy 22!
If this is true Northern star will have to get this down to make profit!
Wether this is true or not ( motley are hardly the best),but what better way than picking up a tier1 mine !
While rumours are flying around what a nice new Jv partner they could make, especially with our board links!
But hey I only quickly scanned as I was rushing between airports!

With all my heart I hope this carries on !
But my head is saying the timeframe is going to change!
New management, new ideas!
I hope I’m wrong but I am expecting a delay, how long don’t know, new outcomes possible, we could even end up going it alone!
