A nice yacht that would be nice, maybe you could race keiser williem around the Isle of Wight and stir up some British passion again!
On another note I was talking to my daughter ( German) and we were talking about the difference in death tallies.
She was saying that she thinks they don’t test the dead , do we test them for cv19.
Maybe that’s why we have a vast difference.

As you know I’m into gfrd and just been thinking about what there bank balance will look like, when they do there final results.
With a small market cap .
I was just working out in my own head what a good price is!

The way I see it certain companies bank balance could look a lot better than it should do!
Obviously it depends when the final statements show up.
Ps this has nothing to do with tw’s bank balance

All going well on the stock markets at the moment let’s enjoy:)).
A question for Bamps or Tom or anybody else who might know!
When construction companies start a blue chip contract, would they get an initial payment by the government or customer as they start? Or would they have to reach a certain phase first ?

Costains has a market cap of £220m , after there £100m raise , we surely should be in the same ball park.

I have thought about this problem for a while and while none of us are experts in this field, we are far from stupid.
I believe a lot of facts have been held back from us and I think they thought it was going to be a lot worse!
I look at it like this if one or two countries over react then it’s an overreaction.
If the whole world does it then it’s got to be serious.
Everything could of been done better, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Also the fact they are bribing people to stay at home and not work for six months, they must of been scared of how bad it could of been, or how bad it could still be!
We won’t know because we have lack of information.
So in these we must trust and use our best judgment to suit our situation.

I am not worried about my job situation because!
A, I have no mortgage or debt
B, they can’t and won’t let the construction side of this country go under, they will need it to help rebuild the economy.
C, I am old school and always put a bit away for a rainy day.
The ones I feel sorry for (a bit) is the young ones , mortgage to the hilt , car on tick , living on the credit card until the monthly pay comes in ! Oh I forgot a Hugo boss wallet (£350) worth, with nothing in it, image you see .
They haven’t seen hard times or seen the pain of 15,16,20% mortgage rates and your house going down 1,2,3k a week.
This is what’s going to hurt.
But from the fire comes the Phoenix

Oh yes forgot, sent out a half dozen emails and done a couple of calls about work. Got a couple of replies back, looks okay out there, both where offers on construction sites. Don’t think house builders are back properly yet!

Me too I am not getting the right vibes at moment, we have about 4-6 weeks work left on here.
Was meant to move to another site, put on hold, not getting anything solid of our boss so started to put the word around and see what happens.
Before this getting a call a week gone quiet now.
I will keep you informed as and what I hear but everything seems to be wait and see!

I put my main bulk of cash into gfrd thought I got a bargain at 129 but it’s dropped away should do better!
Tw I am all out hopefully getting back in at between 120 -135 will have to wait and see.
If all goes good on site I will be back in at whatever price , just waiting to see vibes not right at the moment.

At the moment looks like a good move to cash in on ncyt at 440ish looks like it could go below 300 in the next day or so.
Could be a good buying opportunity if decent results come soon as expected!

Just looked at the trading statement again!
£836m in cash that’s a lot of clout nice position to be in, I can’t see them rushing to build just for the sake of it.
In there eyes no need to gamble, it’s definitely wait and see time!
Just my opinion good luck all for next week

Just been reading that half year report again.
It seems to me that they have a 100m in account from sale of housing division.
Also 36m from the Aberdeen bypass compensation!
So even if they just broke even on the rest of the works , we should have 136m in the bank!

I thought we were in for a trading statement yesterday or have they postponed it.
Anyway just bought in here a week ago at 129 and 99.9% confident of a nice return in the next couple of months.
As people have said 100mil in bank plus contracts,price is ludicrous.

Personally the more I think about it the more I believe it is a temp thing, because if the builders stop then we are in a big big recession. All other industries are in trouble and going to be non profitable for a while! So that leaves us the government will have to Chuck money at us .
Could even see the first council estate for 50 odd years?
