I suspect we still have a seller looking to reduce his position today. A gap up can only occur when that pressure is cleared, and equally there's a lot of long term holders who have seen the light at the end of the tunnel and may be happy just to get away now.
Remember the last takeover attempt fell flat in 2015 from the same source.

I have kept tabs on Chamberlin on the grounds that TB seems to have an impact (let others fill in the adjectives) on companies he invests in.

The price is a reflection of buy v sell requests and as discussed it's the 10%ers over the last 2 weeks probably top slicing before a bank holiday weekend.

There's an expectation here and from their last RNS that they will update by the end of April.
All I'm suggesting is that I would rather they didn't update for the sake of it - keeping up appearances. I'd rather they waited till there's something big to post. That's my preference.
I am aware that if an RNS comes out to satisfy any expectation from LTH's but it's not meaningful it could hurt sentiment.

It's tough to define the drivers for OBC.
In theory you could say the increased holding in AFN does directly impact here, but we have seen waves of rampers appear when bitcoin spikes, not really understanding OBC but moving the price on low volumes because of the small m/c and low free float.
The ADVFN BB is interesting today - massive activity all of a sudden and the emergence of some insects there too. These AIM shares can be a rodeo at times.

I'm torn between wanting the RNS on the basis it's been suggested, or rather they waited until they have something meaningful to say. An update RNS for the sake of it doesn't help.

Bank holiday weekend coming and no sign YET of an RNS, can't blame the 10%ers for taking their profit.
I think they are wrong, it'll be a winner longer term, but I respect the traders for doing their thing.
In the end the flat earth society will blame little green MM's for price movement, but it's sellers outweighing buyers right now and that could change very quickly.

The MM process is an automated process to balance buys and sells - there are hundreds of listed companies and thousands of trades every day.
Do you really believe there are a cabal of dark suited evil men hiding behind a screen trying to manipulate BHR??
There are brokers who make small fees and commissions on the spread at each transaction - irrelevant of price, only spread.
The price is determined by computer algorithm based on who wants to buy and sell.

The price is moving today because some people are selling, more than buying.

Crikey - I turn my back for a little while and those little green men (MM's) are back there, pulling the share price about in their dark room on a small AIM share just to upset you all!!
