you can see form the very low volumes (forget what's buy or sell) that there's a very small volume swinging the price, not a big seller. Bitcoin is being massacred today again - lost about 1/6th of it's value at one stage today alone.

I'm not too worried when exactly it lands - if you have a defined cash need by a certain time it's different, but for me I can wait until the inevitable comes to a head. I certainly don't expect this to drag on beyond the summer given the flurry of activity so far.

Totally driven by Bitcoin/Etherium price crashes.
Just as the big rises earlier in the year were driven by Cryptocurrency rises.
It's all so daft because the value of this company is the share of ADVFN and the blockchain technology which can be used away from the cryptocurrency world and be useful in the future of secure transaction technology like Trism.
OBC don't actually have any direct cryptocurrency exposure except the Brazio and Argentine stuff which are very low market cap anyway.

If you (and your team?) are researching you should be aware that a takeover is very much on the cards, which is the driver for the price right now. This isn't a strong sell at all.
The ADVFN business is now reporting a £1M annual projected profit in it's latest update, so is only trading in 20x now anyway!

buys and sells are nothing more than midprice estimates - if the price is dropping then it's a buyer's market and supply is outstripping demand.

I hold and will continue to do so because the benefits that could arise from the Umbria work, the Trism work and indeed the ADVFN value shorter term all make this compelling at such a low market cap and with such a low free float.
It feels like a bit like buying premium bonds - the money is sat there dormant until the numbers come up and them we could all have a big uplift in value.
I can't for the life of me see the merit in trying to trade this one - picking the ups and downs is a challenge under such circumstances and you could end up out at the wrong moment!
That said - I'd steer clear of price guesses too - there's no science to back it up.

There is a general inflation woe across all areas today.
The drop here is on stupidly low trade volume (don't worry about buys/sells display - that's an estimate) the value of all trades is less than £100k.
AFN has a market cap tonight of £20.16M - OBC own 18% which is £3.63M. OBC entire market cap is £6.79 right now so AFN share is more than half OBC's entire market cap!!

Latest RNS very attractive. OBC's share of ADVFN continues to grow in value....
Full on takeover battle in full flow so that will continue to support OBC (18% holding in ADVFN)

Well here's an admission for you. I first found out about BRH because of Gyrometric Systems Ltd, who have a next generation drive shaft monitoring technology. BRH own 20% of Gyro Systems.
The whole RMS dividend and then the frenzy over paraytec was an aside!

I think the price action here has been very positive (not just the obvious rise) but the stability on days without the RNS..... this has all the hallmarks of patient holders waiting, whilst each new chapter of the holdings saga will trigger a further rise as a low float is chased by the increasing number of traders watching on the side.
I still think this may have a bit more volatility to come as some get in and out short term, but a 30% RNS would move this quickly to a potential takeover offer price - and that could be anybody's guess but definitely more than now.

This is a really interesting aspect of OBC's work, at the moment we must be clear that OBC is not being paid for it's relationship with Trism, it's getting it's toes wet in a new space.... the real value comes if we get a more permanent tie up at the tiny market cap here.
It's the combination of 18% of ADVFN (short term boost) Umbria token (medium term project) and the Trism work (longer term) that will add interest to OBC. Of course, a spike in the wider crypto or blockchain environment could shake this upwards quickly too.....

You're entitled to invest here for altruistic reasons and good for you, but this level of "are YOU saving the world" post? Really?
BRH are an INVESTMENT company - they won't be making any tests to save anybody, they'll divest by then and pay a dividend - that's why lots of genuine LTH's are here. You do realise this?
