£246k of actual revenue on about £1.4M of expenditure.
To show a profit they've upped the carrying value of investment assets by about £2.6M
Even so, the net book value as we stand is £6.6M which is about the current market cap.
Verdict - SP is about right for the value of the company.
No spike in value coming soon without some major boiler room pump.

The markets are in turmoil, just look at the FTSE. On days like this baby gets chucked out with the bath water and it doesn’t mean that this company is in bother particularly.
On the other hand Tintin has been a liability on this (and other) message boards for a while with his 20p rubbish and now whining again. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve sold up and want a lower entry price…. Treat with extreme caution.

Simples: in 12 months we get a full years results which include all of the Bricklive and Frankfurt revenue. That should cement a new price level.
After that I can choose based on news and economy.

I can only refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave earlier.

Lawrmyer - by all means admire TB for being an "astute businessman" but make sure you keep your eyes open to his activity on other shares in the past.
I'm sure he's no mug when it comes to making money, but he makes it for himself - not people like you or me.
make sure you have one foot in the exit door to protect any gains you see here. Otherwise you'll end up like BRH shareholders - I know, been bitten myself.
I'm holding here with exactly that plan.

I think we've covered the SP movement many many times on this message board.
The price right now, compared to January is great and probably at a fair level before we have any concrete profit numbers.
The price went to over 12p because of Zak Mir/Noel Borg and all the 20p next week clingons that day traded their way into a spike.
Once some proper numbers come out we'll be able to judge what profit actually looks like - how big it really is and whether it's gross profit which gets sopped up by "indirect overheads" or whether any of it is actually going to trickle down to the bottom line and benefit people like us.
I still have every faith that inside 12-18 months we'll be well ahead of today's position but there is always risk when a company is dominated by an "Alpha male" with his own ends to satisfy.

Lets see if there's a sale and dividend from the last meaningful asset on the balance sheet.

I don't think the situation is on them, they see a business they can transform - they've done it before.
They opened up the can of worms after having to pay to remove Chambers - this is the obvious consequence. Often best to get the bad news out early, then it's easier to improve.
It may act as a low point for them to buy more, but we'll only be able to tell by the transactions in the next few weeks.

And long may we enjoy happy 5% days like today. Hopefully 8p was the new floor.

a dividend TB got over 25% of........and it led to subsequent price action that TB couldn't resist taking advantage of too.

The Chambers clan cast a long shadow. I'll let you decide for yourself what is incidental and what is deliberate from the following:
- Chambers as chairman - AFN spend years flat, very little action
- 2021 - suddenly start paying a dividend, price goes up all looks well
- Move from others who believe they can run this better
- Chambers exercises options at an immense discount (14p)
- Chambers resigns and gets a whopping further payout
New team realise this isn't making cash and the cost of getting rid of Chambers has crippled them - PI's foot the bill in big red losses.

Why would any of this matter to OBC? Check out the existing directors and shareholders and the performance of OBC.
I don't like bashing my own shares, but I'm also a realist and AFN will take some time to recover now. OBC have yet to even start to grow.

I'm sure they are purchases given the prevailing midprice.
Crypto has been making a gentle recovery recently as the market picks up.

I wonder if it's because DC wants to change up the shareholding and this is a step to attracting more stable investment holders? Just a guess?
For me if DC wants the SP up then the announcement of a dividend policy will be the true game changer - that';s hard cash in holders pockets and could be sustainable over multi year contracts.

I think the "broker's note" is effectively the trading update Jimmy.
The actual results for Y/E 31st March come out very soon and will be a big loss due to COVID. Much of the market works on historic data to gauge a share's value, so there has to be some big fanfare around just how much the last 3 months have changed the company. If it was just an LVCG update it may get lost in the data from last year, but it may be seen that a broker's note adds weight to the message.
