"but sale of PARAYTEC could happen"... oh boy. the last RNS has finally admitted defeat - there is NO BUYER so they are looking to monetise through licence instead.

The sad part is that another "just over the next hill" RNS on Paraytec has diverted everyone back to dreams of riches.
The odds are stacked that another placing is coming now they have overturned the NO vote from earlier in the year, this RNS is an attempt to excite the punters, and of course it's worked on here.
The SP might be affected by COVID hype, but the balance sheet and revenue value here remains Phasefocus.....
Paraytec is a looooooong way away from being commercial because that relies on more testing, production, getting the CE mark, and then being good for other uses like sepsis and bladder cancer applications (this is stated in the RNS if you read it).

This is one more step on a long journey to viability. We knew this update was due because of the test timetable given before June.
Most interesting line is this:
"The Directors of Braveheart believe that commercialization through testing as a service and licensing to other testing providers offers an attractive alternative to monetizing Paraytec's technology as opposed to outright sale."

In other words nobody would buy it, so let's see if they'll use it under license next.

Whilst I remain unhappy with timings of placing and "value" ascribed to Startart, I am quite pleased to see a partial retraction today via RNS.
I am not in "the inside" perhaps, but I'll accept your situation is different Thereshegoes so I'll not question your view....
From where I am sat, having voted NO, this is a positive. I am still very guarded and undecided about whether DC is doing this for his own gain or if there is more to the nature of the transaction. I could paint a picture now of a well meaning Chairman who has a great vision - or I could still paint a picture of a greedy man ensuring he gets lots of gravy while we don't......
I remain a LTH and have patience enough to give this another 12 months.

Sadly Knigel, yes he can. What Asimpleinvestor means is that in a vote of no confidence he can't vote for himself.

Maybe the 15/20p thoughts were merely pipe dreams .Clearly looks like it over shot the runway on it's recent rise and a retrace is a happening to correct the excitement.

asimpleinvestor - with a very simple answer and quite right too.
Directors should be answerable to shareholders, so we (as owners) are right to cast judgement on directors.
The problem with DC is not only that he is both director and shareholder, but also consultant and supplier of investments now.
If I have a lovely side hustle called "Bennster Posters Ltd" what's the chance of getting LVCG to buy it for £5M?

We voted them down, so they came back. TB bought a few more - probably knew how many he needed to buy - and here you go. They have a carte blanche to rape us all over again.

Just for info - there are 8 resolutions to vote on

Resolution 6 is the purchase of startart, but resolutions 7 and 8 give the board (effectively DC) the right to issue shares on a non-pre-emptive basis (i.e dilute to taste) - I have voted no to 6,7 and 8 to protect shareholder value.

Morning all - I have the voting notice from my broker this morning.
I will be voting no to placing resolutions as with many others here.

Alfreddie - your posts have gone from being doom and gloom to being hyper ramping, without foundation and without any thought.
You're entitled to short term trade if that's what you want, but your tone is out of order - you wouldn't use such an attitude to us in person so don't do it faceless behind a keyboard.
A dilution is very bad news for holders long or short if it divides the same pie between more shares.
If a dilution is used to buy guaranteed value in for at least the same consideration then it's neutral.
In this case we have been/will be diluted to the tune of £4M to purchase something which we can't see or believe to be of equivalent value.
The fact that all the cash goes to DC and his mate Ranjit is even worse (they own StartArt).
It is clear that no value can/will get to shareholders now, either by retained earnings or dividend - that is the foundation for share price value.

I would absolutely take him up on his offer - but he didn't reply to me when I sent a polite email to the investor relations account back in February.

I'd say anything I've written on this board to his face. I just don't know what constructive answer he could give other than "yep, fair kop". what can we do about it?

I can imagine LVCG as an entity bringing in solid revenue over the next 5 years - it's a funded and solid company.
That's not in doubt - I'm sure KPOP will drive better gross profits in the coming years.
The point about today, and why so many of us are absolutely furious, is because we now KNOW that all that good stuff means nothing to us as shareholders.
We now KNOW that any gross profit will be siphoned off by DC to fund his lifestyle and not a penny will EVER make it to the shareholders, either by genuine balance sheet growth, retained earnings or a dividend. This is a shop front for DC's lavish lifestyle.
KPOP could make a gross profit of £10M next year and I am certain not a penny will ever come my way in book value or payout. From here on in I have to wait for the next Twitterati spike, chartist mumbo jumbo or Proactive Investor hype to get out. This could have been so different if run like a proper company for the benefit of its shareholders.

The share value for DC is a paper exercise Knigel.
It's a shop window of respectability to allow further placings/self serving transactions - it's almost a write off but it allows DC to do what he's done today, which is paying himself a king's ransom for some startup startart "asset".
DC has taken out of LVCG much much more than the shares are worth. and when he's had enough he'll still get 3-4p for them, which will cover what he's paid at these deep discounts.
