It's one thing submitting questions, it's another being in the room at the AGM and having a palpable and obvious level of frustration. Shareholders need to make this clear with repeated questioning that their salaries are not justified currently.

Their work is just not good enough. This needs to be drummed into them at the AGM and they should go home afterwards with a full understanding that they have to deliver.

If they are reading this board, they should know they have a month or so to get sh** done or else they will get absolutely hammered.

I'll also say Sudo Biosciences announced dosing of phase 1 patients on 2/12/2024.

Results from this trial have been reported in under a year.

Phase 2 trial is expected to commence less that 18 months after commencement of phase 1. Puts us to shame really.

If you look into it, his statements on podcasts were decidedly dodgy.

He doesn't have the energy or commitment to Xtract with 3 other companies at the age of 82. We know it's a part time job for a full time salary with little to no results.

He should be ashamed of his statements over the past few years.

It's a good point about Claire being on most of the videos. Every credit to her and she evidently does a great job planning the drilling, assessing results and in front of the camera.

However, it does beg the question: why is she the one who is doing it?

Does she know the geology more? (Obviously, but in a recorded interview that isn't the be all and end all - only high level content is required)

Is our CEO nervous or unwilling to appear in front of the camera? We have had a few appearances but definitely not enough.

So on top of the obvious question as to why the geezer hasn't put his hand in his pocket, we need to question his lack of media appearances.

Which then ultimately leads to...what does our CEO actually bring to the table? Ditch the waste of space and promote Claire? We would hardly be any worse off at 0.28p and 800k ounces in the ground.

If anyone from Oriole is reading this, please consider what tangible, quantifiable benefits our CEO is bringing to the table and whether a non-income gold explorer could possibly do without him.

These questions need to be considered and discussed.

Why do they need a different corporate broker to raise funds?

We already have a corporate broker to raise funds.

As always with Sar, there is never enough explanation of the strategy to shareholders. We never found out why the pivot away from phase 1b 18(?) months ago. We never found out what the benefits were to consolidation (has anyone seen any or are they in the room like the Brexit benefits?).

AGMs come and go and the BoD are let off the hook for another waste of a year.

They've been at this for 20 years! 2025 has basically been a write off - a report that we are yet to see published has been written and 737 has been taken in house but not gone anywhere. That's 2025. That's it.

They need to get a move on.

US junior pharma gaining more attraction than UK companies?

The BoD weren't to know it of course but with hindsight the chaos that the AIM market brings was probably not the best strategic decisions. They weren't to know that back in 2005(?) of course.

I would also suggest Evoq being more open to milestone based success payments and therefore reducing the risk to the large pharma is probably quite attractive.

I would surmise that is absolutely why we need this toxicology study, especially if we're aiming for a buyout and passing on the risk to the purchaser.

The reason for a buyout I would imagine is because it's 2025 and not 2010 and the BoD (and the rest of us) want more than just a "wait and see" financial package that could be great (eventually), but also could make us wait 15+ years for financial reward. On the other hand, it could backfire and fall apart in phase 2 or 3.

I wonder if there was this much negativity around baricitinib and it's black box warnings - I suppose the billions of pounds of revenue take the edge off the warnings somewhat.

Lesson being, nothing is perfect and this kind of bump in the road should provide lots of learning. Hopefully not terminal or as you have described it "permanently compromising"

In order to be classed as an explorer, I do believe a company does actually need to do some....exploring.

It might seem obvious....but there has been something missing over the past few months. I'm not for one second suggesting ol' Col might be resting on his laurels or even getting distracted by the other 'orses in his stable - god forbid. But some indication that he's got his magnifying glass / telescope out and is 'unting for elephants would be marvellous.

On a very much related note, I do hope Col remembered to set his "Dry season" alarm on his phone. He may emerge from his slumber and pick up the shovel. Elephants don't find themselves in Zambia...

Before we know it, he'll be harping on to Zac about the rains again, completely ignoring the fact it doesn't really make a blind bit of difference if it's raining in Zambia or not, especially if you've got your feet up in the Algarve all year!!

I think the conclusion over the past few days (for me anyway) is there is a lot we don't yet know about the true cause of the failure. I wonder if we'll ever know.

As HBD says, I'm sure the BoD are frantically trying to get to the bottom of this. If there are issues on our side, they will need to be resolved before a restart of the studies.

The most important thing here is the Comms. They have to tell us, in full, what has gone on. We never ever got the full picture re the MHRA debacle and this is another set back (not quite of the same magnitude).

For the record (because I've checked), SOG posted 5 times AFTER the RNS yesterday morning and gave his opinion in black and white.

Disproportionately present means yes there there were possibly issues with 1801 but the fact the control group was SIGNIFICANTLY affected means the whole exercise is null and void.

Possibly there was a virus in the group or the lab conditions were unsatisfactory. This was evidently either an issue with the trial and the handling of the animals or with the conditions they were kept in or there was an external issue introduced to the animals (again, this relates to the professionalism of the operators)

The fact there were fewer issues with 1801 is a positive sign, imo.
