Morning all. Not expecting any news this side of the NY obviously it's festive season in the Bird household and with family coming to stay the birds are focusing on preparing guess bedrooms rather than RNSs.

Having said that, contractors can be drilling using our money - surely that's the benefit of outsourcing everything Colin? Any danger of exploration taking place in the dry season?

On a different note, I would love to pin something down.

Zap, I respect your positivity. I really do. But would like some clarity with timelines and milestones.

I completely agree there is potential here. Thing is, it's been potential for 5 years. We actually have to do something about it.

Let's deal with details and facts and form a baseline of your expectations for 2026. Perfect time to do it. Completely up to you if you don't do it - time is short, everyone is busy and who am I to request info like this, but on the flip side, we never ever deal with concrete milestones and facts on here so would be super helpful for future conversations. BR was drilled for the first time over 5 years ago. Where are we now? At a LOWER share price than we were back on summer 2020. Why?

Why do we keep needing patience? Why has nothing happened to said dumps in 10 months? All it takes surely is to contract a company to process them? Why no news??

I understand why people have invested in Xtract. Copper is and has been a great investment for years and will be needed a lot in the future. Plus colin is a very persuasive man.

I am always wary of what anyone on these boards says. It's always good to take everything that anyone says with a massive pinch of salt.

Everyone has their motives and everyone has their exit strategy.

If one person says they're planning on selling at 1p / this will reach 1p by the end of 2026, you beat your bottom dollar they will be out by the time the sp hits 0.6 or 0.7.

That's not to say I don't believe 99% of what people are saying here - I'm invested with over 5m myself but it's good to be careful, especially when those turn up who mention rockets to the moon etc etc.

I do believe someone purchased 27k's worth at 8.30am this morning.

There's no way they'd have got that for a sell. Sells were going through at 0.26 and this went through at 0.2768...

We are being sl*gged off on more boards than one (see Oriole resources). Slightly embarrassing. Normally when shares are mentioned on others news it's for a good reason...Omi is an example of that.

Come on Colin, let's hear about the antimony progress, drilling update at Silver king and anything else we have been funding in the Western Foreland, Kakuyu etc etc...

Cobalt - it's the single most reassuring thing he's said. He needs to get this company sold them and not faff around with licencing.

Why are shareholders in the room having to explain how we manage Comms.

I do think we are at a watershed moment.

20 years on this company still has no significant returns to show for the innovation and R&D it supposedly leads on.

The share price is now almost at the level it was at its peak in 2021, despite a 50:1 consolidation. The shame of such an embarrassment achievement.

I am happy to give them the 2 weeks that are left before the AGM to prove their worth.

However should nothing material be announced in the time before then, they should be met with the full force of disgruntled shareholders.

Let's take a step back and consider some of the progress.

20 years since company set up.

5 years since MHRA rejected our phase 1 trial application.

Almost 2.5 years since the first patient was dosed with 1801.

21 months since the final patient concluded in the trial.

The lack of progress is staggering. And I'm not accepting the argument that they are a small team going this alone.

They were for a long time a company valued over £50m and for a short while valued at over £100m. They could and should have pushed on from there, not have been subject to the death spiral that we were subjected to with RF.

CB reluctant to give a figure for how much he'd want for BR because he knows we'd slate him.

Tell them to shove a 10p offer and 3 years later accepting less than £10m.

Tbh I'd take 10m - throw it into either a nice dividend OR accelerate antimony which seems our only hope to making some money here...

I took another 800k this morning (£2k). Only slightly above the placing price.

Current MC is around £10m.

I am looking for £50m minimum here in the mid- term (6-12 months).

Ideally we'd be bought out for £75m.

Chesser were bought for 57m if my memory serves - although that was USD. The caveat to that is the gold price is very different now to what it was back then.

Chesser had a portfolio in Senegal. Their deposit was

(Inferrered) 235k oz at 1.5 g/T

So not far off what we have. Admittedly we only have half of the licence now. Cameroon also not as proven - first mover disadvantage perhaps.

The above desired MC / buyout valuations would be after two more rounds of drilling, one at Mbe North and additional drilling at Mbe South.

We have the resources to crack on. Let's drill baby, drill and unlock the £1m bonus and get us sold by the end of 2026.

No – the formulation in the toxicology study is different to that which was used in the clinical trial or will be used in any future clinical trial in humans.

Why did we need to do anything different?

Why are they not telling us the whole truth?

Why did they pivot from phase 1b? Tell us the TRUTH!

This adds a lot of support (as have previous reports) to the idea that we don't need to prove readiness for phase 2 IF the opportunity is large enough.

There have been several acquisitions lately of pre clinical assets.

If the BoD were good enough at marketing, getting noticed and making the case for 1801/2, we would have been bought out by now.

They have been at this for 20 years.

I'll quote Tim(?) once again - "we are after all very good at chemistry".

That's a maybe after recent events, but they sure as he** aren't good at marketing their assets and luring a big pharma.

Suffice to say, we will probably be here next year and the year after that.

The key question is: what's your long term plan here guys and what is your strategy for getting us sold? What are you doing to make it happen?

Why are you the only one who is defending him? Why are 99% of shareholders angry / livid with the unjustified actions of an old man (FACT, if you like facts)!) who only recently stated we probably wouldn't need a raise.

2. Why is the share price down 90% and therefore 90% of shareholders under water.

I genuinely cannot understand how anyone can defend him.

I tried this morning to put a positive slant on the lack of news.

What does Colin do? Dilute shareholders by a huge chunk and therefore further disenfranchise the current lot.

Why we were knocking down the doors at the AGM to get him out I don't know.

EGM is the only way.

Bird has been let off time and time again at the AGM. He should be held to account for his dodgy dealing and complete lack of interest in the key thing here: increasing the share price.

That RNS saying no raises for the foreseeable is an absolute joke.

The only way out of this is if in the next week or two he releases a whole raft of positive news. But of course he won't, because his (wholly unjustified) salary is now sorted for the next 3-5 years.

He's a complete joke and he should be told this to his face (unless he can turn things around)

I changed the subject from "lack of news" to "News incoming" off the back of feedback around feeding the negativity.

It's 6 weeks since we had any SK updates and 8 since Antimony news. If I know Colin like I think I do, he'll have been beavering away making sure we are going toe to leather to move things forward!

Fingers crossed. SK may not be the real McCoy but this antimony play could well be a game changer. Has the old geezer stumbled upon a company maker? Hopefully it's too good for even this has been to muck up and come 2039 he'll be harping about how he discovered Antimony in Morocco and sold it for 265 USD. Here's hoping...
