RE: Tumbleweeds and Grumbleweeds...22 Aug 2025 13:26
Eres 'oping NTM.
Unfortunately due to a lack of interrogation and holding to account at the AGM, I wouldn't envisage or even expect any difference to the modus operandi of our resident shirker, aka the bird man.
He's a part time old timer who has taken our share price from the highs of 5/6p 3-4 years ago to the depths of 0.7p.
I see no appreciation for getting on with exploring or progressing any of the work streams.
Some might say that's pessimism, so we should deal with facts.
1. OSV's common assertion is to regard the value being added here. No added income, no dividend and a share price decimated. I must be blind, for this long suffering shareholder cannot see or has received no value for the years spent here. If OSV could grace us with his presence and explain his thinking using facts, figures and not just a condescending tone, that would be great.
2. Actual news.
A wishy washy update on Wildstone in Morocco before the AGM was presumably meant to placate disgruntled shareholders. There was NO indication of milestones or timings, despite us now being 3 months away from the initial forward looking statement "Small-scale production is envisaged to commence within 9 months of the transaction closing" (RNS: 26th Feb). Granted we have received two updates since then but no mention of production or timelines.
SK. No indication of timelines here.
Eureka. Mothballed.
Kalengwa. Mothballed.
Kakuye. Mothballed.
Chilibwe: drilling undertaken but lo and beyond and the great surprise of shareholders, it was a dodgy licence and legal issues need to be resolved.
Western Foreland:
RNS on 6/3: "Phase 2 programme to commence at the end of the rainy season."
Final results in June:
"These units will be further evaluated via ground geophysics and a subsequent Phase 1 drilling campaign should the results be promising".
"Reconnaissance work has identified eight copper stream‑sediment anomalies within the External Fold & Thrust Belt portion of the Western Foreland project, these will be targeted during Phase 2 exploration."
3 months after a promised phase 2 campaign...no progress it seems.
The frustrating thing here is there is lots of potential. Colin just needs to get on with it and do some drilling. It's not like we have no money coming in...
