Icecool...the Govt needed huge quantities and cheap prices...most of the raw materials for LFT come from China anyway and like many these days, they think China is the only place to go for such products. All very supid considering the fact Covid eminated from China in the first place. If you recall, supply chainswere in a mess and there might have been a chance UK companies would be put at the back of the queue for raw materials if the Govt didn't order finished goods from China. China has/had the World by the 'conkers'....

It's about time the West got real...but it won't...none of our current polititians have the knowhow, will or 'conkers' to do what is necessary to support British businesses.

BV doesn't it also depend on what they do with the sale money.

If they pay off the loan...not good.

If they continue with the loan and put the cash from the sale into the bank - much better.

If they have a deal up their sleeve pending the DX sale which is also announced - much much better

If a deal comes with a large upfront payment - bingo....

Fingers crossed for the latter eh!!! That 6 month statement needs to come with a New Years big surprise or two...

Vertizea-Sun...I had to watch my husband go through two lots of chemo with the most horrendous side effects. He says if he had been given the choice of 2W or 3W chemo with little or no side effects he would have opted for the 2W every time. We have discussed this with other friends and family members who are going through or have recovered from Cancer and they all said they same on the basis they would just want to get it over and done with as quickly as possible so that hopefully they could get their lives back as quickly as possible.

This hasn't been a simple 1a trial...remember Covid affected all sorts of things medical wise...little slow recruiting and bringing centres on board. Centers in two countries. Introduction of 2W trial. Management/Board changes. Fundraising. Etc etc...

2 week dosing with few side effects is probably what the patients would prefer and could overcome chemo drug resistance.

Nasdaq listing will most likely be achieved through a special purpose acquisition company or RTO into a company already listed using some or all proceeds from DX sale.

Money has moved to States...UK stock markets are dying due Labour Budget etc...

EU stagnating.

Sale of DX potentially harder.

Major investors need to see more data/P2...

So Avacta might be in a bit of a catch 22 right now.

Q1 is within H1...think they've just given themselves a little wiggle room. It all depends who is going to be analysing/writing up the data. If a third party perhaps we are in a queue and they have said it might not be available until H1.

Is this going to be a whole new set of patients?...wk

Will any from 1a still be monitored if not in 1b trial? If so will their data be added as a subset notation perhaps?
