We seem to be taking each topic in isolation without considering what the company is doing as a whole.
There are certain milestones/pieces of information the company must impart to the markets as soon as they become known to the company. On the other hand there are many discretionary bits of information they don't have to divulge in quite such a timely manner and in many cases are held back for commercially competitive or confidential reasons. If a company is conducting negotiations with potential partners/clients they will never give a running commentary. Disclosure will be when the deal is done and in most cases terms of the deal will still be somewhat vague.
Trials are never normally conducted with a running commentary either for obvious reasons and therefore we will just have to be patient. We are still very much in the grip of a pandemic and many companies/institutions have suffered from shortages of staff (isolating), home working and now it's full on holiday season. Sitting in front of your screens typing away and moaning won't make anything happen quicker...in fact it often appears to have the reverse effect...watching a kettle and waiting for it to boil comes to mind...whereas put something on the stove and walk away for a few minutes and guaranteed caramelised soup for suppa...
Guys...we are all frustrated but what will be will be so suck it up and wait...or get out and move on...

AgentB...you might wish to check out why Derpverge are using a combo Affimer/Optimer in their highly sensitive water and breath tests...Avacta have been giving them lots of support/help in the development.
Maybe a combo product is the next step...maybe the saliva test will be reinstated...who knows.

Marik..the deal was 2 years in the making apparently...and Avacta was on board with Mologic in June 2016 with research into other nasty little viruses. Did such research ever stop??? Was the first Agreement ever cancelled or did it simply wither???

AgentB...perhaps you are concentrating too much on our covid test and not so much on our affimer technology.
Why did we sign another agreement with Mologic?
Why is it not just a simple production agreement?
Why are we offering to support Mologic with our product?
Most if not all major LFT manufacturers offer CE registration as an extra service.
Avacta right now are far too quiet...too many updates due and we aren't getting any.
There seems to be far more obsession with a possible UK Govt contract.
FTI/Mologic/US..there's a connection there and I think its potentially bigger than we might think.

You have to go back to 13 June 2016 and 20 Jan 2017...it's all there and it's been ongoing...our tie in with Mologic isn’t new, we’ve had an agreement with them before. Soros/Gates aren’t just watching, they know all about us…’Affimers are suitable for low cost, rapid point-of-care diagnostics that could be deployed widely in the field or at US transport hubs for example’…not my words but AS’s

Is this the sort if thing Avacta is going to be assisting Mologic with...

In the UK for airline passengers, most airlines if not all have already cut deals with PCR test suppliers for home test kits which you order and then send back.
For LFTs the airlines are referring people to the UK Airport Test Centres. Govt LFTs are not acceptable for travel. In both cases passengers foot the bill. As far as Avacta is concerned they will either be working with who is supplying the airports or airlines direct for LFTs for their staff rather than travellers. Will airlines try and keep the cost down to their travellers by offering a quality LFT themselves????

Antigen Testing - £35 per person
A rapid antigen test - This is a lateral flow antigen test that can be taken before boarding your flight.
Customers are asked to leave sufficient time prior to their flight as they may have to queue in busy periods.
Results take approximately 30 minutes and will be sent via email.
The UK government has advised the NHS testing service cannot be used to provide evidence of a negative test for non-essential travel.
Customers who require an antigen test at the ExpressTest walk-in site must book in advance. Face masks are mandatory for all, unless you have a medical condition. Lateral flow testing is not offered at the ExpressTest drive through.

The Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF), founded by George Soros, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and several philanthropic investors, has announced the launch of Global Access Health (GAH), a social enterprise that will seek to expand access to affordable medical technology.
As part of this initiative, the group has financed the acquisition of UK-based Mologic, a developer of lateral flow and rapid diagnostic technologies.
The members of GAH will invest at least £30 million ($41 million) in this deal.
WHY IT MATTERS....Mologic develops tests that can help combat tropical diseases such as dengue, bilharzia, and river blindness, as well as for COVID-19.
SEDF’s investments in GAH and GAD are part of a portfolio of recent investments made in service of Open Society Foundations’ commitment to expanding global access to affordable, public health products and technologies.
The initiative will aim to achieve this through decentralised research, development, and manufacturing in and for the global south.
The transaction will give the project the ability to address gaps in the provision of global diagnostics in low-income communities and regions.
“Testing, or diagnostics, are vital for everyday public health needs, to enable doctors and medical professionals to provide patients with proper treatment as early as possible,” said Roxana Bonnell, a public health expert at the Open Society Foundations. “As we have seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, access to testing is absolutely essential when it comes to containing the spread of contagious disease—an issue that ultimately affects us all.”

March 2020 - Mologic - a rapid diagnostic technologies company - announced that it has been awarded circa £1 million by the Wellcome Trust and the Department for International Development (DFID), as part of the UK government’s £46 million international coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and research funding package.
The funding will allegedly be used by Mologic and global partners, to develop a point-of-need diagnostic test for the virus, in addition to supporting the company to initiate research for novel vaccine candidates.

FTI Consultants are our PR agents. The were appointed in Jan 2021 and no mention was made of the change by Avacta.
Their Chairman is closely connected to Soros.
Soros was the lead in the Mologic acquisition with support from the Gates Foundation.
IMO..this change of PR company was directly connected to the upcomjng acquisition and our involvement hence the news blackout.
I also suspect poster MorganFreeman might be an operative of FTI Consulting as he appears to have been posting on the Novacyt site who also use FTI.

amg97...I have no idea what the future will bring/play out but what I can advise you to do us go back and read the RNSs. The answers are in there you just have to look for the clues and do some research. When I say clues it's about wording interpretation and the RNS timings. The Mologic buyout was not done overnight it will have taken months if not years. Let's say it took 1 year then from the day it was announced look at the Avacta RNSs issued within that year. Could knowledge of such a deal have affected/influenced the deals/relationship Avacta had/has with Mologic. Think hindsight....
The Avacta test kit is made up of several components costs and profit margins. Now if the new Mologic owners run the GAD side as a non-profit how are they going to do this and is there another part of the business that could be used to subsidise it. When Avacta talks about allowing them access to their kits what do they actually mean...the whole thing or just the strip. If it's just the strip then what would Avacta sell this component to GAD for or is their a production deal being done. For example: For every 100 kits produced by Mologic, Avacta will give GAD 10 FOC if Mologic reduces their production charges by ?% and Avacta gets all their component suppliers to reduced their charges by ?%...If such a deal allows Avacta to get their overall costs reduced this could lead to more sales and therefore more freebies for GAD. I'm not saying this is what's happening but I'm sure something is being worked on otherwise why make the statement they did and why not just have a Production Agreement.

None of us can predict the future but with a little bit of research it is sometimes possible to unearth information which might help us better understand the direction of travel.

How France and the UK differ when it comes to recognising natural immunity. The following is a French resident journalist's account:

'Having had Covid in October last year, myself, my husband and two of my three children had all just received one dose of Pfizer. In France, we are considered fully vaccinated and our vaccination certificate on the TousAntiCovid clearly states as much - we have had one out of one vaccine.
