To progress ‘excellently’, 80% through a trial does not indicate failure. At this point P1a is a success. Ie, last DE was all good.

Quite the opposite - they’re hoping for news; of a raise. They’re hoping data is further delayed and the can is kicked down the road, hitting the equity wall. With this hope, anything they add is effectively the same as us betting on good data.

Why oh why, oh why, oh why go after it yesterday? I don’t understand.

Avacta had implication that Dox was being cleaved last December. As in, December 2021. Almost 1 year ago. The PK’s explicitly show that AVA’s 5140 leaving group is being excreted. They show how much free dox (dangerous stuff) is flowing in the plasma. They also show how much DoxOl (heart killer) is whizzing around in the plasma.

Not cleaving argument;

- They wouldn’t see the leaving group or free dox in plasma/urine.
- Trial would be stopped
- No DE
- Not considered ‘excellent’ performance.

Not activating at TME, but cleaving argument;

- They would see metabolised PK’s, including huge free dox Cmax and short AUC.
- AE’s
- Trial stopped at DE1.

Activating AND cleaving argument;

- little (hard to believe no) AE’s
- favourable PK’s (could go into this at request)
- trial continuing through DE’s
- implied success

Activating AND cleaving, plus biopsy data
