If our office is the norm I think we deliver more Amazon than Amazon do!

In today to do Sunday tracked. 90% were Amazon prime. Just how much are Amazon paying royal mail to deliver their stuff. Is it enough to cover the £20/hr we get paid plus diesel and a lot of them failed anyway. Can't envisage the company is making much doing this.

Fordm, it's probably all the world leaders, their vast entourage and the press flying from Rome to Glasgow to have another chat together about how people shouldn't be flying so much as it causes havoc with the climate.

If nothing was elected before the deadline HSBC set then nothing is due i'm afraid. Not sure if all deadlines were the same , halifax was end of day on the 20th but if hsbc said the 19th and no choice was made then nothing is due from any proceeds they may or may not have made. This much was stated in the prospectus.

Hi, if it's a van share where two rounds are done as a pairing, they usually alternate each round but tracked parcels get done on both every day. Tracked always go whatever. Sometimes someone will do extra after theirs (if they're desperate for money or mad! )

Commonsense, just over 100. It's not just covid. We are generally worn out, joints, stress new recruits taken on on 30hr contract then quickly finding out they want you to work 40+ , no wonder there's a high turnover. This job will be impossible to do until retirement age of 67. The people who make the big decisions are so out of touch with the reality on the ground and that includes the CWU too. Before covid if you so much as brought one letter back to the office it was a stackable offence......now when you get back and look around ..... it's laughable. Shame is, it's the little old lady that doesn't get ger hospital appointment on time or the little boy who doesn't get his birthday card because his postman is off work sick and the round hasn't been covered. It's not good.

I would like them to be fined because it's the only way that the customer is going to get what they pay for. I care more about the customer than Royal Mail. Been in the job over 20 yrs and believe me royal mail doesn't care about the customer. My wages are set. It won't come from my wages.

When is offcom going to start fining royal mail for not delivering stuff? 8 walks in our office not gone out today and thats a regular occurrence. We shouldn't be still getting away with it.

Not sure what we're doing differently now but they always used to say letters cost us more to deliver than they got revenue for. Make it up to suit their agenda mostly. I can say that mail is not 'down' as they used to say , but then the people who delivered it could always see that.

what about people who pay for first class but don't get it delivered for three days because they hold an entire walk in (except the tracked and specials) ,are they getting what they paid for?

Lockdown? really? what you been drinking? Media cannot make a country lockdown. They can make a false fuel shortage (remember that, don't hear much about that 'problem' now do we). Govt don't even want to make people wear masks (which I personally would like , how much of a hardship is it anyway?) so I seriously doubt a lockdown is in the offing.
