Btw anyone who deals in shares would know you can put your entire balance of your ISA on a share at any one time , you are not limited to £20k. If you had £100k in your portfolio you can sell the lot then buy £100k of shell if you wish. Just to be clear.

Of what concern is it to anyone else how many shares someone else owns? Other that an ego trip?

Why are people on here talking about a dividend? It has been said already that the shareholder returns will be in the form of buybacks. I'd like to see a little sweetener special for sticking with shell while they slashed their ordinary divi but seems it's going on buybacks.

That's just what I read on Bloomberg so don't take it as gospel.

Looks like it's going to buy backs, not a special div. I would personally prefer a dividend, it's money in the (my) bank. Buy backs always just seem to get lost in the general ups and downs of the markets and the shareholder never really sees any tangible reward in my experience anyway.

AND with all the buy backs it should really be going up.

Almost destroying the travel industry to stop less than 1.5% of travellers from abroad coming into the country positive. It clearly isn't worth it and theses restrictive travel curbs will be drastically relaxed very soon i would say.

A heavy reliance on people doing overtime when they pay less hr rate than your contract hrs (what an incentive) will possibly come unstuck in a few weeks time.

From the CEO this morning, explained how we should all take responsibility for making sure all the mail goes out the office in the morning....not that I'm not 1-2hrs late every day making sure MY walk in the office all goes. Meanwhile telling us there's more work coming our way but they will be reluctant to use agency and temporary workers in the Christmas rush because evidently they have sorted all offices with revisions to make the load more equal. Right. All in all a fantastic literary example of how to annoy the workforce before needing them to actually be on side. There may be trouble ahead.....

Clued, got no kids, didn't work out so we accepted it unlike some who let it ruin their life and finances ( and the tax payers) going for IVF. So you agree there are too many people. One thing that would solve most world problems but nobody seems to dare bring up, is population. The world has become overpopulated by a long way. Have one child if you want. Have two and you are doubling the amount of cars ,space to live, food to eat energy to live. It's a massive problem but all we get told is cut down your energy consumption, your heating , your travel, get an EV. Less people equals less pollution, less unemployment which in turn means less benefits paid out , a better society. Me and my wife taking three holidays a yr isn't the problem . A couple having 5 kids is a problem.
