Too late. Take a look at sky news headline. Really irks me that anyone who does well gets penalised. We're the powers that be bailing out shell and BP when the POO went negative? No of course not. So why all the talk of a windfall tax? It's not a windfall it's good business management. Why don't they blame the UK govt for failing to secure their own energy, what about North sea gas? What about nuclear, why are we so reliant on Russia? What about Brexit not allowing us to trade as a bigger player for our gas ? No, just go for the headline of big energy makes big money, take it off them. Forgetting the fact big pension funds invest in these companies too.

Google is live last trade price, LSE is delayed, not sure on HL but probably delayed too.

Still the annual yield at only 3.7% going forward based on the 4% increased rate. When big oil has been paying 6% historically, it's still low and as the SP hopefully goes higher the yield comes down. This I believe will make shell more volatile as people look to trade rather the sit on their hands getting a nice secure divi.

Lovely 4% pay rise? On those results I'd have liked a bigger hike in the dividend. 4% doesn't even come close to a 'rise' with 5-7% inflation.

£40m for 700 managers? those figures don't add up. Thats over £57k per manager. DOM's don't even get that, let alone line managers who aren't even on anywhere near £30k.

I did warn you all. Bosses are still being dishonest though by blaming it all on covid. There are many many more reasons for the absences, joints wearing out under the unreasonable workload, stress from bullying and harassment from managers. It's most certainly not all covid, but of course, that's the easy option to hide behind. That said, covid had been around for two yrs, they've had time. Be honest with your customers, don't charge full rates for third rate service. The inconsequence and distain they show to letters is appaling. SD and tracked is all that counts.

No big deal? Do you know how much we used to get fined by offcom for failing deliveries pre covid? What about the people who have paid good money in good faith to have a service provided? It's not just covid related sick, it's stress from the constant over working and bullying, and wear and tear injuries too. Windfall tax, that really annoys me. where were the govt handouts when the poo was ten bucks? Seems you get punnished for doing well but not helped out when the going is tough. I look after my finances well and get no help with my energy bills which have risen the same as anyone elses , while someone who ****es their money up the wall gets helped out.
