Surprised there are so few buys assuming the RAM deal goes ahead or there's a higher offer - Mr Market is obviously not impressed by either course of events and that's very worrying! I'm expecting a higher offer at any moment or my future is fooked. So much future happiness removed by unrealistic expectations. Come on somebody - surprise us all with an eye-watering offer! Unfortunately, RAM have already mentioned 15p so let's hope other entities see things differently.

You're very kind lodan1 but somehow I doubt it! I want to get on with what remains of my life NOW! Without other takeover offers I'm stuck for several years with my landlord making my life very unpleasant. Total freedom = 42p per ZIOC share which you'd think competitive bidding would soon surpass! GLA!

And especially the new investors who have bypassed all my wasted years! It's a lesson learned. Obviously no investor is "stuck" but if I continue to believe in ZIOC's golden future then consider me stuck. What a sad end. I'm as disappointed as anyone about TOM's lack of progress. It remains a binary bet. Huge upside or it fails to attract finance and is open to a RTO so still has a future - who knows? GLA!

ZPHR is a future billion dollar company as soon as all the wells start producing. And it will happen. And as one well begets another it will keep on growing.

Jiving: while I would welcome a higher takeover offer I'll be pleasantly surprised if there is one! At the same time, this is supposedly a world-class iron ore asset major miners ought to be interested in and fighting over. Nothing about ZIOC has ever made much sense over all the years I've been invested. If the RAM deal goes ahead then the future's very bright for anyone buying today. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll still be here in 2039 and by 2060 I'd be 106.

And all the overlords will also be dead in the not too distant future so I think they're also skating on thin ice with this deal. Obviously they are also hoping for a better deal. So higher offer expected while the SP sinks! Expect 100% rise as soon as the tide turns!

So are you still a shareholder allthatguff? You seem to be wearing blinkers. If you can't adapt you won't survive. The RAM deal is not what we were all hoping for but it's still reasonable and may well be the best we can hope for. I say that as a LTH whose dreams have been trashed and who's praying for a higher takeover offer at least 42p and then I can buy my dream home @ £350k a few yards from the house where Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788) was born.

I suspect not or you wouldn't be wanting the FCA involved - an action which could contribute to the loss of ZIOC's licence leaving LTHs high and dry and up the Congo without a paddle. I find myself wholly agreeing with Stas20 and can't wait for ZIOC to "prove materially more valuable than the current market cap implies." Reminds me in a way of Brexit - in our case, RAM's deal will "get Zanaga done".

"Everyone should chill and be happy there is a route forward" - Yes! And timing is everything! God knows how many years have been wasted for LTHs and the opportunity cost is incalculable but we are where we are so make the most of it! 6p is a no-brainer!

Think carefully before you challenge RAM's offer. If no other offer is made then this is the best we can hope for. If your actions lead to trading in ZIOC shares being suspended you will have screwed LTHs even further! And that could lead to the mining licence being revoked in favour of another company whose shares haven't been suspended for God knows how many years! Step in RAM Mk 2 under another name leaving ZIOC investors with nothing. So get off your high horses, accept this is the best deal we'll get unless there's a higher offer and buy more shares!

BUT, if no other predator makes a higher offer we are presumably stuck with RAM so make the most of it! Buy more shares! I can't see any challenge succeeding if there is no higher offer. The SP has been "low" for many years - Mr Market has NEVER viewed ZIOC favourably! Smart investors like me thought we were onto a no-brainer 12 years ago - it remains a no-brainer with 5 more years to go!
