Maybe something I should've asked before investing all those years ago but: what are the implications of ZIOC being registered in the BVI? They state on their website: The rights of shareholders may be different from the rights of shareholders in a UK-incorporated company. And: Zanaga Iron Ore is not subject to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. In short, can they do whatever they like?

There are so many different, possibly even more unpleasant permutations that could unravel and I still think your complaints are all irrelevant should a higher takeover offer materialise - so why not wait a bit longer for one? You never know, just like buses, three may arrive at the same time (and let's hope they do). SP down 6% today after your announcement - how does that help? A few decent buyers very recently saw some upside but I think you've well and truly nipped that in the bud. Without another takeover offer the RAM-raid is the best we can hope for and if you kill that - what then? Maybe then it's taken private at a pittance and LTHs are even more worse off than under the RAM-raid? I've got my expectations down to 23p per share and that buys me a canal-side property in Retford where I never expected to end my days.

Your confidence is misplaced! SP obviously still being suppressed - how could that 819,631 trade possibly be deemed "unknown"? Once it's neutered it loses its potency. Amazed the two £25k buys aren't also "unknown". Horrible feeling that ZIOC will still be taken private at a pittance and the RAM-raid is all part of their cunning plan. Lowest possible SP over a long period really benefits any privateers - just the time for a hedge fund to take a position, driving the SP higher and making them pay at least double or treble what they were planning to pay and they'd still be laughing all the way to the bank.

had to look up "k-nuthas" which appears to be a reference to a harry potter character called kuhnut which i suspect is related to canute which is sometimes spelled **** which is an anagram of something moist and inviting. c'mon zioc, bail me out! if i end up destitute living in a homeless hostel all the other residents will be pointing their fingers at me and muttering "he's only here because he invested in zanaga and thought all shareholders would be treated equally - what a prat!" it's a national scandal: if the ram raid succeeds it will have a devastating impact on every investor contemplating an investment in an aim company - why take even more risk? it's bad enough already without fellow shareholders/bandits snatching almost all of the upside.

Pleased to see a 15m buy and the SP up 4.84%. The less said about the 13m sell, the better! It is in everyone's interest to raise the SP so how about an RTO by Valkor with new shares issued @ 0.1p i.e. a 207% premium to the current SP which would reward TOM's LTHs to a certain extent and mark a new beginning?

Up to a point, Lord Copper! RAM are hardly a hedge fund with $billions behind them unless, of course, they're merely a front. Deep waters, Watson!

extrader's "Patience, grasshopper" fills me with hope. It defies logic that the Zanaga Project will be sold for peanuts but WTFDIK? Very little, obviously, or I wouldn't be in this mess. At least ZIOC's up and TOM too which is all I care about. On the other hand, pending any jackpot, I need to sell £1k of my PF every month over the next few years in order to survive. Never be a UK pensioner living in rented property if ZIOC doesn't deliver!

That sounds about right Arkham! It's 11p and goodbye or that pays for a 12.5% stake in whatever the future brings. If only the terms were more generous I'm sure the SP would be much higher which would benefit all shareholders. Sheer greed from a few shareholders has brought ZIOC to its knees. And also made taking it private more affordable at the expense of LTHs. Was that always the plan? The RAM raid lowers the SP and then the coup de grace? No doubt it's legal but hardly ethical. The overlords are parasitic scum. Good luck to extrader et al if you can fight this! I can't see how you can unless there's a counter-offer and then you're redundant however low the counter-offer. What is preventing relatively decent honest companies making an offer? And where is the queue? We're so cheap even a hedge fund could make an offer and then flip it.

I don't think that's quite what they're offering and we're certainly not guaranteed 15p at any stage in the proceedings.

I recall an 11p special dividend being mentioned which ought to be attracting carpetbaggers but apparently not.

Conclusion: Mr Market thinks the RAM deal will never be concluded and nobody else is interested in ZIOC.

We'll see.

Had ZIOC been the multi-bagger we were all anticipating, you might have been facing a huge CGT bill. My shares are held within an ISA and I'm still hoping to deprive the Inland Revenue of many £thousands of CGT. Has the SP finally bottomed? Google Finance currently has it up 2.29%.

FYI BOTS_PROJECTS beardozer and many other LTHs invested in ZIOC long before MM arrived on the scene. And why wouldn't we as it looked like a possible 10-bagger all those years ago. Since then GLEN has exited which ostensibly made ZIOC even more investable. Some evil entities noticed and the rest is history.

OK extrader, I owe you an apology because you obviously are helping and feel very strongly about our plight although I did have to look up "arrogate". I usually post while drunk but I was sober yesterday and had better things to do whereas I'm drunk today and here I am! I was relying on my investment in ZIOC to solve my housing problems but the RAM raid has torpedoed my dreams of becoming an owner-occupier not far from my favourite butcher and Michelin restaurant. Hence my faith in a higher takeover offer but when has a sucker ever been given an even break? W.C.Fields was a genius: in You Can't Cheat an Honest Man (1939), he tells a customer that his grandfather's last words, "just before they sprung the trap", were "You can't cheat an honest man; never give a sucker an even break, or smarten up a chump."

I researched EEE ages ago and it didn't grab me! Hard to see it outperforming ZIOC from here! I don't seem to have any trouble identifying profitable investments but timing is everything. Previously held and sold HREE, REE, EST and GRL but far too soon. Now I've painted myself into a corner and am reliant on ZIOC, TOM and LOGP (suspended pending compensation).
