I'm glad I'm causing you pain! How strange that you instantly descend as soon as I have posted! As for ramping other stocks - LOGP is a special case and I'm unlikely to benefit from the SP rocketing just before suspension but DYOR and you might agree it's a reasonable proposition in these dark days. As for me having more to say: you will just have to wait and see but I think it's definitely worth waiting for! Shame on ZIOC if they do a deal within the next 2 weeks and deprive you!
Blimey Flombo10, as my old Dad used to say: "If you have nothing pleasant to say, say nothing at all!"
By this stage in the proceedings I think everyone's positions are where they will remain - GLA!
The Market is very often an ass!
And I'm 99% sure LOGP will win their case - the fly in the ointment is the amount of compensation.
I don't quite share your analysis but I do hope " it won’t matter about today’s share price, and we will all be kicking ourselves for not betting the farm here." At the same time, I have a horrible vision of angry ex-farmers who have lost their farms... The SP is where it is because Mr Market thinks that's all ZIOC's worth despite everything that's supposed to be just over the horizon. Worst case scenario: a 20p takeover offer that the BOD recommends! I will have more to say when we get to the end of Q1 and STILL nothing has happened! Meanwhile, any LTH here must have the patience of a saint and would be interested in investing in LOGP whose shares are about to be suspended. Unusually, LOGP treat their shareholders more than fairly so if you buy before suspension your share of the company is locked in as a percentage of any compensation paid out. DYOR but I'm hoping for at least a 50-bagger!
All very interesting for a fantasist! " I would never spoil it and be the first one to sell." Bonkers but you're still welcome!
Meanwhile, Lanstead's black shadow continues to hang over ORR. A takeover offer at multiples of the current SP would solve all our problems!
Ireland has begun counting votes after a double referendum on proposals to modernise constitutional references to relationships, family and women. Early tallies showed a strong support for No votes, signalling an embarrassing defeat for the government.
Eamon Ryan, the transport minister, conceded that the government had lost. When it was put to him that the government did not get the result it wanted, he said: "No we didn’t. But you have to respect the voice of the people. "
Quite!
Now 205.5%!
If you don't know what ignorant means I wish you good luck!
If you don't know what that is you're even more ignorant than I thought!
OK Kutzz, always happy to sit and wait! The story of my life! But at what point does ORR become the new GGP? At what point does Mr Market realise it? I see a gap worth exploiting if only one of my other jackpot shares would supply the funds. I don't think any of them realise how important they are to me! GRX, KP2, LOGP, TOM, ZIOC if anyone's interested.
LOGP needs careful handling as it's about to be suspended but DYOR! ZIOC looks like a foregone conclusion yet the SP is where it is. There is never a free lunch.
I'm sure I'm not alone among LTHs in not fully understanding the Lanstead deal and all its implications. Foolishly, I thought if the SP rocketed then it would cost Lanstead and not ORR shareholders. Is the Lanstead deal holding back the SP?
After all the positive news shouldn't we now be looking at 1p in the rear view mirror? Instead we're at 0.285p.
Very flattered that a story should be written featuring me but, being on the autistic spectrum, not quite sure what the point is. If it's criticising me for impatience then I'd like to point out that I've been a shareholder since 2012 when I bought 6,000 shares @ 37.3p! It was downhill all the way after that but I've kept the faith and increased my holding over the years to a level where even £1 a share buys me a house. With his holding, Mattski100 could buy several and good luck to him!
Obviously, I want to share your optimism but the SP going nowhere is very disheartening.
Agreed, I should stop dwelling on the past but if something was about to change for the better wouldn't the SP be much higher? Let's hope something happens by the end of March or we might have to wait until the end of April! Incidentally, I prefer "lovable curmudgeon" to "rude old twat" but you're probably right! GLA!
I think I confused "suspension" with "cancellation" - presumably delisted shares are not welcome within an ISA?
"In the event that the Company does not complete a reverse takeover under AIM Rule 14 within such six-month period or seek re-admission to trading on AIM as an investing company pursuant to AIM Rule 8 (either being, a "Re-admission Transaction"), the Company's ordinary shares would be suspended from trading pursuant to AIM Rule 40. Thereafter, if a Re-admission Transaction has not been completed within a further six-month period, admission to trading on AIM of the Company's ordinary shares would be cancelled." What happens then? Any remaining shareholders will hold shares in a private company.
Kick it further down the road after waiting God knows how many years? Simples!
beardozer is one of many personalities - I don't like him much! I just wish he'd get the jackpot he's been waiting for!
Then he'd shut up and buy a house.
Can't see the suspension of the shares making the slightest difference to the eventual compensation.
But it will have huge implications for individual shareholders.
For my part, all the losses within my ISA will count for nothing while all the gains from 0.09p will be taxable!
What I was hoping for was a takeover of LOGP before suspension but it doesn't appear to be happening.
Seems like a missed opportunity but WTFDIK?
the second link is nauseating ****! if that's supposed to be good news for zanaga then keep posting!
Surely Drago1 and beardozer aren't the only shareholders sick and tired of ZIOC? While the rest cut 'n' paste news items which are supposed to support a future for ZIOC the SP goes nowhere! Not sure what the answer is. Answers on a postcard? Probably sell up or shut up!
