Two main things short term are...
- How's Display doing?
- We expected to have completed the build and fitting for the nano-particle production line to service the US contract at the end of July.

Anyone's guess what's driving this little bump until we hear something concrete from the company.

It does wellwell. Preview in Techradar states that these displays have been in development for 18 months which fits perfectly with the timeline we've experienced.

FWIW on balance I think the Director's Talk Samsung Nanoco link is probably just sector based advertising.

Been listening to Radiohead BtB? Crikey. The company hasn't set the expectations you are referring to. Investor's Chronicle know no more than us. I've read their recommendations many times only for the opposite to happen. That's not unusual at all.

However, there's no reason to be so gloomy. We'll just have to wait and see. If revenue from display is less than £200k it sure will be disappointing but I think the chances of that are very low.

Interesting link to Director's Talk guys. Could just be a random thing but I would add to Nigwit's list...

- Samsung always said they couldn't easily scale to high volumes. Maybe they are selling a truck load of QLEDs now and have come to NANO for help.

- They started including NANO in trade events and calling them, "Partner," a while ago.

Promising but this statement pretty much allows them to do whatever they want, "Sony either prohibits the use of these substances in parts or phases them out wherever a viable alternative that meets all product quality and technical requirements is available."

I think they would be foolish to be using cadmium based dots now and there's a some circumstantial evidence of cad free regarding the 8k screen so hopeful over this one.

Fingers crossed Triluminous dots are cad free this time.

It's difficult to come to a number. I would wait for the Q2 results at least.

It seems very odd to me. I assume the COO role is currently vital to Nanoco. Maybe they plan to relegate the CFO role to being just a signature on the annual report but I would think that would raise questions over accountability (no pun intended). I don't know what to make of it really. We'll have to see how the change is implemented.

I'm afraid I'm much more cynical than you guys after learning many hard lessons in the investing game. "Products are expected" or "On their way to the shelves," Means to me, "We have absolutely no commercial products," And, "We have no idea when we will and may well never will have." Once that messaging changes it will be game on. This is simply a speculative company with very promising technology and importantly, no debt. I will add, maybe controversially, with what I consider at least, is good management.

Yep and good to see business carrying on in the background while everyone's focussed on takeover noise.

I hope we're shipping significant volume to Wah Hong but take points that have been made previously on just in time inventory management through the supply chain.

Agreed Mars1. Even with nothing from Display we're covered for another half (a year but companies will always raise money before one expects them to). Then of course production of nano-particles will kick in. I hope that will be enough to sustain the company.

Note of caution - I'm sure costs will have risen from 700k as the company has grown.

On the apparent company misstatements. Nanoco is not responsible for delivering any products to market. All they can say is, "products are expected," And "On their way to the shelves." There's nothing misleading there if they never materialise. Similarly, I don't expect any RNS from Nanoco if and when they do get to market. We will only find out from the display revenue bottom line that I hope is starting to grow now.
