Was the best outcome yesterday. I think given the fact IQE will take part of the sensor demand for the 230M+ phones Apple will sell in the coming year rather than 60M - 80M iPhone X only market combined with the efficiency gains of not transporting wafers between sites and not re-purposing machines mean all the risks are to the upside in the short to medium term. Albeit no immediate reaction in SP while frustrating isn't surprising.

It is indeed but it's around 230 until sales over the Christmas period will be reported by the company. Hopefully they will have reason to issue a positive trading update over the festive season itself.

I'm clear in my thinking Nigwit and confident this is the right decision in the short term. It's risk based obviously and I may lose out but I can see better opportunities elsewhere for now.

I think it was in the interims that the company stated the horticultural lighting product was being trailed my a large producer. I wouldn't expect any revenue stream from that product line until next year conditional on success of the trial. Assuming it is successful though partnering with a large producer should result in some good cash flow.

Sold out early yesterday. I was way overweight in this one anyway and took the opportunity to cement a profit. Props to BtB for calling it a day earlier and getting a much better price.

This is no comment on the company's potential. I just can't see where positive catalysts will come from in the near term. As such it will drift around on wider market sentiment. Hope to be back by the end of the year when it looks like things will heat up again. Probably won't buy back until the full results are published as the retroactively elastic nature of the 'milestone payments' strikes me as a bit strange and I noticed Edison slipped in the info about paying back the partner for their capital investment. That's not a problem or unusual but it's new news as far as I'm aware. I'm not sure why it wasn't made clear at the time the contract was announced. The financial section might make interesting reading.

Hope there are some positive surprises for you all that are still in. There won't be any bitterness here if the SP rises while I'm out.

Yep it's just a coincidence. The report I referred to was made at the time the partnership was announced and caveats were in my post. I think it was Edison but could have been another analyst or article. It was something more than a forum post though but not necessarily more reliable.

If it comes back to me I'll post the link.

I'm going to say something that I can't remember where I heard it again so please take it with the pinch of salt intended but think it was an Edison update. They said the partner was a top ten US electronics company I believe which would make them very large.
