tissuethemaway, Nanoco started working with UCL in 2017 on the project to demonstrate the usefullness of Vividots for pancreatic cancer imaging. In 2019 they stated that they were looking for an exploratory drug permit from the FDA in the US. With no updates since then, disappearance of the collaboration with the MIT group and stated refocus to concentrate on the sensor market I'm not confident they're going anywhere. Maybe we're waiting for progress from UCL but the collaboration was supposed to cost £0.9M. That must have all been spent by now.

It would be nice to have some updates from Nanoco. I take it no news is bad news on what are now non-core product lines. Last time we heard about QDs for horticulture Nanoco's magenta QDs were being used in a large scale trial by one of the industry's leading indoor agri companies. That was two or three years ago so I assume it's been quietly cancelled.

The safety trials for Vivodots Mattyboy mentioned went quiet ages ago. The development plan for them was even more ambitious. MIT pharma expert business development consultants were engaged to find a partner for large scale product development and commercialisation because the opportunity was too great for Nanoco alone. I guess all that was dropped.
