Interesting story on Bloomberg this morning that STMciro stands to be a big beneficiary of the expected relaxing of state aid rules for semiconductor manufactures by the EU. I would think that aid would be ploughed into capturing market share in new industries such as advanced sensors.

Hi BoracicLint. Pretty sure we've already sued for wilful infringement. It's up to the jury and judge if they think that's what's happened and what extra settlement should be awarded in that case. If there are moves to settle before trial I'm sure Mintz will pile on everything they can as their starting point for negotiations.

Just read the presentation. Underlines again the tremendous potential here. There's no indication of when any of the projects might come to fruition. No doubt for justified reasons. However, asking just in case. Did they set any expectations verbally on timelines during the event yesterday?

Supply chain issues don't pertain to this company at all in practical terms IMO. It's producing 12,000 pta. A figure easily abosrbed by the current market regardless of transitory ups and downs. I was referring to sentiment. All commodity producers are being treated with negative sentiment including TGR. That's likely to continue whether justified or not until we start getting some more positive stories about the car / battery / other graphite intensive industries or good growth RNAs from the company. £67m is a tiny market cap. I've got no concerns that it will bounce back when the time is right.

I think the real reason is high inflation and supply chain issues putting a near term negative pressure on commodity producers.

It's probably just drift while waiting for significant news. The only negative thing out in the wider world I can find is that recent reports of significant lithium ion battery improvements announced by SES were done by removing graphite from the anode...

Still a a few years out, problems to solve no doubt and there are many more uses for graphite but they've signed up some big customers. Something to bear in mind.

Unfortunately fission power isn't clean. To generate the amount of energy needed to make a dent in climate change the management of waste created will produce an insurmountable problem. That seems to have been forgotten while Britain looks for an inappropriate quick fix. It would be much better to build out renewable solutions. Still, we'll throw a lot of money at it before we realise.

Experince with VRS is hard earned after quite a lot of suffering. It still has great prospects but until they materialise it gets by on Innovate UK handouts. That's probably a bit harsh but it's not a profitable business yet. TGR have a well defined path to a higher market cap based on an already mature market. As long as they meet their graphite plans they will be fine. As Glengarth said earlier, graphene could be transformational on top of that.

True Glengarth. I'm sure TGR have many more irons in the fire re. graphene but I do think progress on that side of the business will take a lot longer than people expect. VRS are way further ahead in terms of commerical and academic collaborations; volume production; and are the only company to have an independent attestation for the quality of their product and yet they're still chasing that first big launch. TGR has the graphite business. A big differentiator in their favour I think.

NANO's technology would work well for LIDAR but it might be an extra cost on top of cheaper solutions that can do the job. The latest VCSELs for example.

Competitors not collaborators surely? They don't appear to be working the same areas though. VRS has concrete, polymers, printing, clothing and graphene in batteries. TGR it's aluminium composite for electronics. Any chance you could fix your caps lock key?

It's just good to have positive confirmation that progress is ticking along.
