Sad, You would use your contacts book and open up a dialogue with the big pharmas about the combination therapy of CHK1i/SRA737 & BETi/OTX-015 which results in a statistically significant increase in the probability of survival. If it is as good as the data suggests a bigger pharma would handle the negotiations with or for the ICR to take it off Sierra. Maybe that's what's happening in the run up to the end of September. One thing is for sure, this cannot carry on like this.

It's not acceptable to just say "we can't do anything about it, we are just a third party" when lives can be saved. The ******–Meier survival plot specified that the CHK1i/SRA737 & BETi/OTX-015 combination therapy resulted in a statistically significant increase in the probability of survival. Therefore our Chair has every right to bang down the door of the ICR as this should be put at the top of the ICR's list of priorities. If this really has the potential to save / prolong lives then this is what the ICR and SAR should be communicating. This is too big to play politics with. It is time for Mr Johnson of ICR and Mr Parker of Sareum to act. If lobbying doesn't work then they should use the media. e.g. a story about a company stalling on a cancer drug being developed by the UK's ICR at the height of the Covid pandemic would be very big news.. Daily Mail, The Times, Telegraph, Sky, BBC, ITV, etc would lap this up. Mr Johnson has a weekly column in The Sunday times for goodness sake! If he doesn't feel comfortable about personally writing about this he could tip off the editor of The Sunday Times. Churchill used to say "Action This Day" and this is the attitude we require in this instance.

Surely now it must be time for the ICR and Sar to legally invoke the clause that permits them to take back SRA737? I can't believe that TM and SP aren't going to sit back and watch one of our main financial opportunities be thrown away in this manner. It must be time for Luke Johnson, Chair of ICR, and our Chair to take the lead and bring home SRA737. Alternatively they need to find a bigger pharma who will take this on from Sierra, such as Merck Sharp & Dohme, who have been looking at SRA737 as we know. It is time to apply the ultimate pressure and resolve this fiasco.

There are some excellent posters / researchers on this chat - please keep the information coming - it's keeping TM and SP on their toes. However, we are only really going to know how good our investment skills have been when Tim finally announces the much anticipated news stories via RNS. He's not going to change his MO however much we might disapprove of his woeful PR / Comms skills. It is time to relax and watch this unfold.

FOMO will kick in at some stage with Sareum irrespective of whether the share price is being held back or not. There are too many news events to be RNS'd to keep this down in the next quarter. 1p will be a thing of the past.

In answer to your question, some of the key news events due from SAR soon are as follows:
1.What is happening with the Sierra relationship and the on-licencing or return of 737. This could be announced any day now.
2.The recent activity of the US based II and maybe other II’s could trigger a TR1, which would communicate additional confidence in SAR
3. There’s the update on licencing or progress with our autoimmune TYK2/JAK1 kinases
4. Probably a further update on Lupus
5. A grant for Covid 19 research to be announced soon. Application in. Just awaiting confirmation. The assumption on this chat is that it will be successful but we don’t know for how much.
6. The Milestone payment and update re FLT3+Aurora kinases / Chinese partner
7. Other e.g. Sareum acquired.

Good question. For what it is worth it would certainly seem that SAR has inexplicably and yet again effectively dampened down any conjecture / intelligence gathering by LSE chat contributors about SAR by issuing the tweet last week insinuating Damion’s find was in some way “old news”. The momentum has for now been cut off at the knees. It’s just peculiar that it is the company doing this though. It must be to keep the share price low for some reason. All very incomprehensible. Hats off to Damion and Citizen for their combined efforts on Sierra and Lupus. Both posts were substantial finds that should have been declared officially first by the company. Hence the drop and drift of the share price. When Sareum start to communicate effectively we will see a sustained and very substantial rise in the share price.

Andy, by not communicating effectively & coherently it is actually Sareum that is inadvertently walking the share price down, sadly.

It's actually insulting, Phil. The tweet is a massive own goal when they could and should have communicated via an RNS an exciting piece of data. They threw the Lupus news under a bus and have done the same with this. Hats off to Citizen and Damion for bringing both pieces of news to this forum. However, the company is legally obliged to inform shareholders of such information.

Time will tell but the vibe I have had for a while - reinforced by the email to Elcap last month which was shared on this forum - is is that "it's my baby and I will do it my way". A dangerous game to play, perhaps, with so few institutional investors on board. However, it doesn't matter what we think about how bad the PR strategy is and how it is keeping the share price lower than it could be. They are not listening and are not going to budge. If they were they would have made a number of additional announcements to the stock market over the last 6 months. They are happy to keep it under a penny for a reason. Some will feel it is incompetence, some will think it is a lack of vision, some will think it is to prove a point that they know best, some will think it is because of an NDA and others will think the bod are exceptional at what they are doing. Time will tell....

I find it incredible that investors such as Damion and Citizen are unearthing news that the company should be sharing with its shareholders. I'll leave it at that.

I'm with you on that RMM re your comment "TBH I'm past the point of wanting PR to get the SP past 1p, lets get down to the real business!". The reality is that it's highly unlikely that Sareum are going to ever change their MO re their poor PR/Comms. I will wait until the end of the year to see if after all these years their promises of "Significant Value" materialise. If it's going to happen it's going to happen soon.

Regarding an EGM, I would suggest that we need to hold our nerve and see out the next quarter. We can then appraise where we have ended up at the end of 2020 with licencing deals for:
* TYK
* FLT
* 737
Or whether there has been M&A activity.
If we are still languishing with nothing to show for any of the above – and the share price is still sub 1p - then changes could be appropriate via an EGM. However, we might be on the cusp of something big so whilst things are presently very frustrating we need to give Stephen, Tim, John, Michael and Clive a final chance to deliver on Sareum’s promises and inferences re significant value, licencing deals etc. Then and only then can we really judge their commercial abilities. I’m backing them for now but having been a Sareum investor for 10 years I am expecting a meaningful return on my investment.

Thanks. I think I have my Sinovacs and my Sinopharms mixed up....I will keep on digging but perhaps Sinbad is right re the middleman. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for us all.

737 news will probably come first based on recent financial events with Sierra but keep an eye out for a Sareum and Sinovac partnership announcement. Sinovac still look odds on to be the 'mystery' Chinese bio-co that could quickly advance the Sareum FLT3+Aurora kinase inhibitor programme. Their product portfolio includes treatments against Avian Flu, Swine Flu, Varicella and Mumps.

I would compartmentalize myself as very much a Sareum cheer leader, Ahfam3. However, I have been critical of their lethargic comms strategy. It is frustrating that many aim listed pharmaceutical co’s have been far savvier than Sareum with their RNS announcements in the last 6 months. Their share prices have rocketed whilst Sareum’s has not. Some have had scant news to impart but they have worded their RNS’ better / made factual inferences that have excited the market. Others have had genuine news. There is no doubt that Sareum has real news to impart but the reticence to be smart with its RNS announcements / PR is hurting the share price. Sareum could and should be creating more hunger and interest to massage the share price higher ahead of significant news. Other aim pharmaceutical companies have been much better at this. Sareum should observe how this has been accomplished and modify their comms strategy accordingly.

Damion, I am enjoying your refreshing and perceptive take on all things SAR but don't you feel that Friday’s charm offensive was just that – to pacify share holders. If this lackadaisical approach endures for much longer Sareum and its shareholders will be left behind the more commercially astute aim listed pharmaceutical co’s during the biggest pandemic in our life time. I think that over the last 10 years i have heard all of this before from TM. I'm starting to become increasingly concerned about the commercial abilities of the bod. I appreciate that my opinion differs from some of the Sar cheer leaders on this board but we just don't seem to be making the progress that our rivals have been making this year. I hope I am wrong and that Tim has a gigantic deal up his sleeve but......

I would be careful about putting too much emphasis on the investor presentation on Friday. It would be tremendous if Tim produced something extraordinary out of the licencing / takeover hat on Friday but history dictates that communicating / presenting is not his area of expertise plus anything would need to be RNS'd prior to the presentation in any case. I'm hoping for a wonderful update on Friday but feel that we need to be ready for no new news to avoid disappointment.
