Excellent post Ian. EUA is an amazing company and the opportunities here are mind-blowing. I would have liked an earlier resolution to the sale process and the rewards from an outright company sale or a large asset sale and a special dividend but the company is transforming itself before our eyes and we are part of it so I'm now more than happy with the prospect of continuing to hold a nice number of shares in a company and BOD that I'm immensely proud to be associated with. A special dividend wold then be the icing on the cake for me.

HSBC have today increased their target price for ELTA to 840p (up from 327p!). Hopefully, it looks like this share is going to be in great demand.

I asked for £3,000 and got £1,621.30 (54%).

It looks like Anders is the 4th largest shareholder. 38.7m according to the share register. More than Black Rock. Blimey. Pleased for him and he, like all of us on here, I guess can't wait until it's all over. I feel annoyance when the SP drops a bit but it is only a paper loss at the moment and happy (just about) to keep the faith and hold until the sweet (not bitter) end.

Can't think of a better day for it. Nice.

DubleD, if you read the posts you'll see that it's nothing to do with confidence but everything to do with the inferior Innova test. Nothing wrong in bringing our product to someone's attention is there?

Still very sluggish here. Volumes very low - only 7 trades so far today. I have a little invested here as a LT hold but don't expect any action soon.

So I assume from you're post that you're not invested here. I'm here (and I guess most others are) because of the track record of Andrew Austin and hoping he can so the same here as he did at RRE. He's certainly got a lot of skin in the game so he'll feel it the most if he doesn't succeed.

Luckily one of the things I've learned from watching this board is never to go anywhere near Motley Fool so I don't who they are, what they are or where they are and so I don't need to care what they say. Research, pause and more research is the key. Trust your own judgement and try not to be influenced by others because most will have an angle! Of course, there are notable exceptions and they're the ones I follow on Twitter (and on LSE when they appear).

Matt, I've been in EUA since my son recommended them, first purchase on 11/11/19 at 2.59p and have built up (very) nicely since then. I have always watched this board and, at times, it can be frustrating to see the chat. There are cliques, obviously, but it's has been so worth staying to read what knowledgeable people say about this wonderful company. Those with agendas are not always easy to spot but they are soon pointed out and dealt with. I have other shares that I am interested in and follow their chat forums avidly. I have always wanted to post but was put off by having the (small) number of posts next to my name from which some would (mistakenly) think I am a novice - well I was in November 2019! - and perhaps not take what I say seriously or gang up if I happened to say something with which the majority disagreed but it really only happens when posters say stupid or are wind-up merchants. Real newbies are generally dealt with considerately. Stay the course Matt and just flick through the posts and concentrate on the posts that are truly relevant. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Your point DMcG54 about 'normal' investing is so true. Almost by accident my holding in EUA has built up to such an extent that it dominates my portfolio. That's nice of course if/when it all works out to it's (hopefully) successful conclusion but it does starve me of cash for the other holdings. It also means that however the rest of the shares perform, what the EUA SP does dominates the daily profit or loss. Oh to get back to normality again but with lots of dosh to play around with.

Indeed he does still own 0.44% of EUA. So he didn't sell the lot. Which means he wasn't obliged to under the TakeOver Code. maybe he just needed circa £8m for a deposit on a new pad in Mayfair. Opening SP tomorrow will be interesting!

I just tried to do dummy buys and sells through HL. Whilst it will let me sell (at 109) it wouldn't allow me to buy. There looks to be strength for a recovery to move up maybe to where we started the day.
