This is such a dispiriting thread that I've stumbled across here. So much anger, fear, venom and ignorance, based on a medical procedure that any individual has right to decide whether or not to have. It's called Informed Consent.
Fact. All vaccines have only been approved for Emergency Use
Fact. The Phase 3 Trials finish in early 2023 - only then will their effectiveness be evaluated. So we're willing guinea pigs
Fact. Long Term side effects are unknown because the testing period was less the term for a pregnancy.
Fact. Throughout the world thousands of health workers are declining the jab. But would they know.
Fact. The UK Govt's Yellow Card Reporting System shows 1,739 deaths following the jabs and 1.2m adverse reactions, many of them serious.
Fact. The vaccines do not stop individuals from catching or spreading the virus. Front page of the Times today "Booster refusal killing the double-jabbed" as Government needs to coerce people into getting their boosters.
Opinion. If the jabs are so good and effective why would Government need to go to such lengths to convince us to take it. I have willingly taken my Flu jab for years but I'm not touching the covid one.
Summary. There are many eminent medical people who have written papers detailing what they see as the flaws in the current covid jabs. They are not cranks. But there has never been proper debate on any of this and maybe that's why everyone gets so angry.

I'm sorry guys but this is probably the most upsetting thread I've seen on this board which I've followed (mostly silently) since I bought into EUA in November 2019. I's like to get back to the good old days of getting out the rim and predicting the date of the next RNS. This is not Twitter (where I really do rant).

What I don't understand is why have we stopped selling the nothing we were selling.

If we're sill being evaluated surely we can still sell the nothing we were selling under the temporary authorisation.

kopfkissen, the key word surely is that the bidder has "successfully" completed due diligence

It would be great if BOD could simply take the offer from the credible bidder and run with it and i'm sure most here would be more than happy with that BUT they can't. The directors have a duty to shareholders to consider ALL offers and evaluate them, no matter how time -consuming it may be, otherwise they would be letting themselves in for a potential lawsuit for breach of fiduciary duty in not getting fair value for the shareholders.

I'm excited and also frustrated as this could struggle to be sone by Christmas now but, hey, we have a bidding war and I, for one have dollar signs in my eyes.

Looking forward to a nice re-rate this morning and then I think they will be advised to suspend the share.

I share your frustration but this stock still easily has the capacity to provide great returns. I appreciate that some might have bought in when the SP was over 250p and, if you are one of those and for any others still around, it's a real bummer. Others on here would have have bought in when the SP was under 20p and already, maybe, have profit sliced.

We only have a few more days to wait and the path forward should be a lot clearer.

It doesn't make sense. There was demand that couldn't be satisfied at 26p yet PIs are running for the hills at 23.5p.

I have more confidence in the IIs than the PIs.

So the Monchetundra Detailed Mining Plan released last Wednesday wasn't news?

That RNS indicated that "the Company has now received several proposals including a proposal from a credible party for the potential acquisition of substantially all of Company's assets".

Three months later we have heard nothing specific on this but 3 months is not such a long time to negotiate such a huge and complicated sale. I think a lot of assumed that most of the spade work must have already been carried but that may not be the case, especially if the bidder is new.

We have to assume that the asset is still ongoing. Whether it is just the one credible bidder or whether there are multiple bidders we, of course, don't know. What is certain though is that silence is actually good news in this instance because if all the bidders had pulled out, the company would be obliged to immediately notify the market by RNS.

There is no need to ramp or de-ramp the stock. We as shareholders have a straightforward decision whether to either wait it out with potential large rewards and large downsides (if a bid never materialises) or sell. To some that would be unacceptable but others might have bought in (as I did) at under 3p and be prepared to walk away with still a nice profit but without the potential upsides/downsides.

Yes I can sell (at 32.5) but can't buy using HL. No intention to sell though.

I've already written to my MP, Greg Clark but he is dallying. Neale Hanvey raised a question at PMQs a few weeks back and is still on the case. I have tweeted both of them but whether that will lead to anything, I very much doubt it. In a nutshell, we have been screwed.

I'm still waiting for official confirmation of my holding from the shares I bought through Primary Bid and from my ORPH holding. Early trading looks a bit flat but, as we all know, we can't do anything with our ex ORPH shares until the Spring. Good luck all. Looking forward to the next spin offs.
