I can't for the life of me comprehend why anybody would sell this morning after this RNS and when the SP has slid.

I'm relatively new here (and not quite as old as you) but join you in despairing that our investment is sliding away AFTER EXCELLENT NEWS. It still doesn't make sense to me. It seems to me that Andrew doesn't want us as shareholders. Those on here who have talked about inevitable dips and profit taking must see that this doesn't explain the unrelenting drop.

The deafening silence on here this morning, to me, indicates the (silent) fury that shareholders feel.

Interesting that AA is " assessing opportunities in the UK that would enable us to take full advantage of the investment allowances implicit in the recently introduced UK Energy Profits Levy".

A positive slant on the supposedly dreaded Windfall Tax. If other companies have the same view ideas, it might be interesting.

I agree with what you say Jins except that this is a Public company and it needs its shareholders to continue to support it. How are we all now meant to feel and react? I asked my Trader son (who is not a shareholder but had expressed interest) to watch the Video. His comment "just watched that Angle video..lol. not sure he will fit his head out of the door on the way out of the interview!"

His words would have been acceptable if AGL was a Private Company rather than a Public one!

I've never heard a CEO get so excited about his business while talking down the SP!

The real investment opportunity will be not in his lifetime. Well I'm older than him so maybe I should head for the exit, having waited so long for FDA approval.

He is speaking like an accountant, so can't help pointing out all the hurdles and downsides.

I've lightened my holding and taken profits while they are still there.

Bazzaman, In today's Note, Finn Cap retain their target SP of 44p, which includes a value of 60m to the 3 potential spin offs.

Neither "underwhelming" or "monstrous" IMO but good progress and should anchor the SP.

Please don't understand the difficulty of auditing a company, including inspecting and auditing the value of it's assets, without being allowed to set foot in the country in which that company operates. During Covid many sets of Annual Accounts were delayed because of limited access.

It's absurd to saying that BOD are "taking the p*ss". Accounts will have been prepared and ready but the audit will finish when the auditors are ready and not before.

The SP is being held down and the disconnect between the SP and even the lowest value that could be attributed to our assets is huge.

Instead of "current market capitalisation" I'd call it current market capitulation!

I too invested here because of Cathal. Not a large amount but a bit of a punt and intrigued to see what business i would end up owning shares in. Very excited now with what Peter and his colleagues have unearthed and may well increase my holding after the off.

It is excellent news but it would have been good to see the sensitivity numbers though in the RNS.

How does it rank? Is it best in class?

Me too Dibs. I am having to sell stock either entirely or to lighten some holdings in order to free up funds for companies like this where I want to increase my position. It's not easy as virtually everything I hold I am committed long term to.

I just added as well. But really it doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things unless you're actively trading the stock with leverage. So happy to be and remain here for the foreseeable future.

The brief drop to 144p was certainly to mop up some stops set at 145p.

Looks like a tree shake to me. I topped up first thing.

It'll be a gravy train for the clever tax experts in the big accountancy firms to come up with "creative" ideas as to what "investment" decisions form part of the allowable tax deductions against this obscenity of a tax.
