I agree. He single-handedly put some much needed oomph back into the SP. How great to have an enthusiastic CEO fronting up when the company needed him.

I looked earlier and was quoted 5.07 to sell and 5.14 to buy despite the spread being shown as 4.5-5.5 (20%). There surely has to be a buy order around with MMs lowering the Bid to flush out sellers

I'm also a cynic but I don't think it was orchestrated - more that the wording in the RNS could have been a lot lighter if they wanted to try and sustain the SP. It went on a bit and, seemed to over egg what is a short term problem.

I too recently invested in Serica, my attention having been brought to it by the attempted merger/takeover. However, I was not impressed by the way that the Serica BOD seemed to handle the whole business but I guess they must had their reasons but making a counter offer and not including any Kistos management in the resulting structure seemed bizarre (and probably knowingly) made it doomed to fail. But I liked the last trading update video from Mitch and Serica have profits, loads of cash and seem to have been stirred from their apparent slumber by AA so what's not to like about buying a few shares IMO. They have to do something or they will become a sitting duck! GLA both here and there.

Doesn't make sense does it? Frankly, it looks wrong since Schroders announced at 11.19 this morning that they held 4,125,000 shares and then the TR1 came through at 13.50 showing a huge drop. Did Schroders ever own 9.3%? I don't think so. GMF78 on Twitter has alluded to a number of incorrect sales being announced, only to be withdrawn.

SP being hit as a result of Schroders reducing their stake from 9.3% to 5.0%. I think this spells the end of AA's quest to buy SQZ.

Who would have thought that severe flooding, not seen for decades, would hit parts of US and not a sniff on MSM.!

Pleased that our guys have done well to minimise any damage and disruption and have reassured shareholders.

My wife has been a shopper from the shops for some time and bought some shoes online a few months back. Have always been impressed. The depressed value of this stock is absolutely ridiculous as Scotty has frequently said ever since the (horrendous) spin out.

Even if I wanted to sell (which I don't) my holding is so depressed that I really have no option other than to hold LT.

Sadly this hasn't aged well. I hold so not here to gloat but I guess the writing has been on the wall for some time now.

Everything did seem rosy leading up to the launch but I should have been more suspicious and more sceptical, especially as the SP has been walked down day by day to prepare for the placing. I suspect BOD wanted to raise more than a paltry £3m but were worried that they wouldn't be able to get it away.

Yes I agree the key point to understand is that, with an SP that has been decimated, these results are fine and more than back up the current valuation
