Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
This share should be going up but all it does is go down. I do not understand why but with a low yield and falling sp it does not look like a good investment although I suppose it might be a recovery play GLA
I regret that I have no idea whatsoever. I suspect that the Russian scene does not help as I think GKN have some sort of plant there focussed on agricultural machinery. The strong pound clearly does not help. GKN should be doing better and recently won a large contract from Bombardier in Canada.for parts for trains. Brokers say buy but targets are being reduced and the shares diminish in value. The drop must stop somehwere but where? Perhaps they will be taken over by some richer company from abroad - who knows? I am holding but don't like seeing the value of my shares sinkl and sink and sink....
How old are you|? I only ask because of the last sentence of your last post! I happen to agree with all you say but am looking for short or medium term profit as time waits for no man! Do you have a time frame in mind?
Surely the Euirozone is not particularly relevant to CWC in the Caribbean and Central America. The price has now come down some 18% over 2 months which is quiite a drop. Perhaps the higher price was fuelled by bid speculation but even so the present price is very low. Hope no adverse surprises at AGM on 26 July.
Down another 25p since my last post. Does anybody know why particularly when the brokers keep recommending the share with "buy"
seem to be spoiling a lot of figures across the board over the last few weeks. In other words the pound is too strong or put another way is not helping exporters of goods and services who are paid in dollars etc.
What is pushing the price of these shares down. I believe that they are quite heavily committed in Russia so is the Ukraine situation an dpossible sanctions against Russia causing the problem? The brokers say buy. Is this simply an opportunity to stock up cheap or is there more to worry about?y
I see that Simon Clarke has been selling off tranches for quite a few years now, which seems a sensible way of divesting himself. This has to be done gradually - look at Mike Ashley at Sports Direct - big placing and big sp drop. I still think that this company has a good future and possible t/o prospects once the shareholding is no longer concentrated. Let's hope GLA DYOR
There was a trading startement on 12 February 2014. Seemed positive. No date for final results. Shares keep going down. I wonder why.
The founding families sell shares to the tune of £31M and down go the shares by over 4%. Not worried as more scope for outside investors to buy in and to my mind this is a good company with the right ideas but DYOR
The sp has been drifting for some time now. Does anybody know why?
The market is fickle. I got bored with waiting for the retrace so bought in today at 516 kicking myself for not doing so at 510 yesterday. So far so good but who knows. GLA. All I know is that I must decide to stay in or cash in. V difficult!!
There should in theory be a retrace but when and how deep? Presumably will happen after ex-div on 2 April but will price have gone up enough meanwhile to negate the retrace? I am looking to buy back in below 500p but finding it hard to remain optimistic! I would like to agree with Hottentot but the question is "does the market?"
Day traded this yesterday and managed to get it all wrong by selling too cheap and buying back more expensively. Sold on a spike toiday and made up the loss + the same amount again by way of profit. This is not for the faint hearted and anyway I regard this as a core investment. Will now wait to buy back at a lower price and hold on. One gamble is enough! Extraordinary how sps react differently from company to company on good final figures. I suppose there is an element of difference in each but the way ULVR for example bounced up on its results and then sank back again all in a few days looks different from this - I hope! Clearly there will be a retrace but the skill/luck is spotting it. GLA
I agree fully. Another thing I don't understand is why when buys outweigh sells on a particular day the price of the share in question goes down whilst when the sells outweigh the buys the price goes up. Another crazy fact of the FTSE - not always true but often is. I asked a stockbroker once and he didn't believe me!.
