IAG have ordered 21 Airbus with RR engines and 32 Boeings with GE engines. At the time of the UK/USA trade deal I am sure Trump referred to Boeing using RR engines. Not so. I do not trust the politicians and Starmer is weak and no match for Trump. Hence my previous comments about the forthcoming SMR contract award.

The State of Ontario has just ordered SMRs from GE Hitachi This company is one of RR rivals for UK SMRs If UK Gov gives way to USA GE Hitachi will get the contract and not RR. The selection process has been very slow and tortuous. Let's hope it is transparent and fair and that RR get the contract. It is far from a done deal and I think affecting SP. It worries me I must admit even if RR got the Czech contract.

If there really is a bid on the table at 35p why is sp only 22.50p? Does the bid have conditions which Wood is unlikely to meet? If the bid fails what next?

I just topped up this morning under 100p and my purchase on this board is shown as a sale! Things are dodgy enough without that. Perhaps the results next year will cheer the share price up.

It seems that RR cannot breach 500p and continue to rise. Same applies to Aviva. I have read about resistance levels and these 2 shares seem to prove that such a thing exists. MF by the way say different things about the same share so difficult to know what to believe. DYOR clearly the best way forward. The volatility of RR is hard to understand. Any offers??

What caused the sharp drop yesterday morning? Anything untoward?

SP now dropping no doubt because BAE posted good results and dropped 3%+. Difficult to be bullish about tomorrow even if longer term rosy.

Can somebody explain the logic of a large increase on Monday, a small decrease yesterday and basically flat today ahead of tomorrow's results. Usually the big jump is the day before the results. Also when results are hyped in advance as here the market often reacts badly however good the results may be. Any comments welcome.

Not that long ago these shares were over £5. Then the Greidingers came along and bought Regal. That was the beginning of the end. Sheer lunacy / greed. What a tragedy.

I agree about Director buys. Amanda Blanc and Andrea Blance just sold a few which does not help matters! Nevertheless the company seems to be going in the right direction.

I thought that a relaxation had been announced admittedly without details. Perhaps when we know what is happening the sp will improve. All this promoted for Oct 1.

Why is OTB getting hammered??

As far as I can see no online broker will service a scrip dividend. Not sure if more expensive private brokers do so. What is the point in a company issuing a scrip dividend if no broker will process it. Broking is a closed shop so the brokers have you by the s and c. I shall be interested as to what happens in NRR in the next few days. Having bought all these pubs why chuck them out just as the world is slowly reopening. I held Hsmmerson and NRR. I sold Hammerson and have been cursing ever since. Come on NRR tell me that I was right!

a. BTC price
b. Cost to ARB of mining Inc. new computers etc

The sp has stood up to the fund raising and will accelerate in time assuming BTC keeps climbing. Hope so anyway!
