I'm not whining, I'm reading the RNS without rose tinted glasses. There are some small snippets that offer encouragement but I'd say on balance the chances of a rig onsite now this year are slim to none.
I also find it kind of ironic that they mention the backup plan is to produce from the Mengo and R Zones. That was plan A and if they had stuck to that at got it going in April as planed we would have generated enough cash to avoid another C**p fund raise and dilution and also drill 104.
So Sardy I,m not whining just pointing out elements that the useless ramp brigade care to ignore.

The fact that they are also looking at other options as well as the 2 rigs in the Congo kind of hints that negotiations for a nearby rig haven't been going smoothly.
I can't see this sidetrack being drilled this year.

Payment welcome, if not late and less than the last one. I have to agree that unless we get a higher percentage how on earth are SNPC going to pay their share of the sidetrack, upgrade of topside and all the other ancillary costs that accrue on a daily basis.
They really are in a win/ win position all the risk is taken by AAOG and they only pay if things are a success and then very late causing AAOG to dilute each time works need to be carried out. If the costs had been split as per % and paid upfront then there would not have needed to be so many disastrous fund raises.
The real news we need, and soon, is the rig booked. It worries me that the rig owners who ever they be are reluctant to hire to AAOG whilst the tacky claim for compensation is pending. We were told drilling would be this year, well is October in a few days which means it needs to be booked v soon.

Good news indeed, any forward motion is welcome however any SP recovery is going to be an up hill struggle all the time the funding sell formula is in play.

I've had the sky broadband people here most of the day and every test has been made. All errors on the line have been fixed and the engineer has concluded that it must be the computer that is at fault.
Is anyone else getting this problem, the SP is showing as blue which of course we know can't be right. Any help sorting out this error appreciated.

Tiburn the ISA funding will be raising lower than expected due to Low SP (getting lower as I type) and we have not had SNPC payment confirmed for a couple of months. Also if you think the sidetrack is going to come in at 3 mill with a rig needed to be mobbed and demobbed then forget it 5 mill minimum.
I would like to see 104 drilled whilst rig on site, now that would be worth raising for.

Nope I suspect issue shed loads more shares at an even lower price to try and get enough money to drill sidetracks as I suspect the latest fundraising effort is going to come up short.

The Sp is where it is because investors don't believe the company is capable of getting the oil out of the ground anytime soon. The company has made so many mistakes, both with operational decisions and poor financing choices.
I know this is in the past and we should look forward but there has been nothing of note to change sentiment as yet and until this happens things will not change.
How DS gets away with his antics is beyond believe , if he was replaced the SP would rebound substantially.

Was one of the resolutions past at the GM to keep shafting the PI's and tell them nothing, whilst drawing a large salary.

With respect Tiptop you have been saying that for months, in the mean time the SP has dropped from 10p (when you said it was being artificially held for a deal) to 3.5p.
We haven't had anything remotely encouraging from this company for an age .
The GM today will just be passing resolutions and an RNS confirming it.

This has become the saddest BB. I have until today held my 500k shares in this company but can no longer tolerate the total lack of respect from the company management towards its shareholders. I have unashamedly sold half my holding and topped up in RBD. RBD a company that never does a placing at a price lower than the previous and that following a significant discovery at West Newton is, with some urgency, rushing through a revised CPR.
AAOG has so far lowered the price each time of a placing and decided a CPR is irrelevant.
I truly believe that AAOG have a significant asset but the management and particularly DS are not up to the job. There are so many posters on this BB who are blinded by the fact they have far too much invested in this stock and will not listen to anything other than meaningless drivel about Irish weather or patios or tennis court building. You guys should be asking the company to explain why the SP has fallen from 17p to 4p over the last few months and stop accusing trolls for this result. If you think it's trolls that have caused this then your constant repetitive ramps just ain't working.
It truly is a disgrace and a shame but a companies BOD who get paid a significant amount should never sit back and allow such a situation to develop and no matter how loyal investors are they really should be now asking some serious questions to this company
