I think that interview shows that nothing regarding contracts is going to happen this year. He states he will give an update by year end but I bet the words we are all working hard to secure a contract features heavily.
Seems more pleased he has enough money to pay his salary till 2021 now through funding and even says he can draw down more. Should get some contracts signed and stop diluting and make some revenue !

Tiburn, i was in Eland oil back in 2013 and got bored as things were taking so long ( sound familiar) and so decided to sell. The price then was 125p so gain has only been 34% over 6 years and nearly all of this due to buy out offer in recent weeks.
So not a particularly hopeful example as 34 % on AAOG gives you 3.5p.

Not a single share traded in the first 90 mins, not particularly encouraging for any news soon!

I suspect the well test they halted a few weeks ago gave them a pretty good hint it would flow as the flare did seem rather black for just gas.

Trade reported @ 12.13. Thats a big flip. Guessing some inst offloading previous placing shares at profit to be replaced by yesterdays placing.

Taverham you seem to be forgetting what you are getting for your money. I agree the placing price was lower than hoped but they have raised enough money to buy extra % in an incredible asset which will provide greater gains for shareholders and that is what counts.
If you hold you will be better off than you would have been without this placing!

It doesn't really matter in the short term as the discount they have managed to get on the asset is massive.
Compare it with buying a house, you want to sell your house at 500K so you can buy a larger house @ 750K. You get a buyer who will only pay 450K (10% discount). You mange to knock down the owners of the house your buying to 660K (12% discount) as they need the money now so you are better off despite discounting your own property.

I can't believe anyone is disappointed with this. For an Aim company to raise £24 million in an accelerated bookbuild for just a 12% discount is nothing short of a miracle. WN will become a national treasure and we will own 50% of it, great deal which needed to be executed quickly. Good job S & S, it's short term minor pain for long term major gain!!.

I suspect we may get some very upbeat podcast tomorrow ( assuming bookbuild goes OK ) to justify the placing and the price set. The SP actio over the past few weeks has rather pointed to a price around about 1p. Personally quite impressed if they can raise that much for only a tad over 10% discount, other Aim oiles have had to discount massively, AAOG had a SP of 17p and did a much smaller placing at 10p, now that hurt.

That means sweet and sour prawn balls.

It's as simple as that. Confirm suitable rig booked and the arguments can stop. Until they do then theres always a question as to whether they can afford it. it's a close call as finances are definitely tight.
It a bit chicken and egg this as rig booked will boost SP thus providing more funds through funding but no rig and SP slides providing less money.

Why does the SP nearly alway drop below the OO price. Apart from getting warrents makes taking part in OO a waste of time.

Early Sells will befFolk that know they have their full allocation of OO shares as it wasn't 100% taken up. Not much in price now as SP has drop to the OO price.

No Rig company is going to sign a company with AAOG if they don't have sufficient funds up front especially as they are already in dispute with the last lot!!

No porkies from me. I posted a few weeks ago that I had sold half my holding so only got 250K now. Proved to be correct decision at the time as SP has lost over 22% since then.
In life and business you have to consider all factors positive and negative and prepare accordingly. You cannot be blinkered an arrogant enough to only listen to the positive whilst totally blotting out anything that does not concur with your own point of view.
I really want this to turn around but honestly this mornings update unfortunately raises a number of questions, predominately lack of funds to complete 103CST without regular payments from our partners and the lack of progress in booking a rig, These are facts so it's not trolling to point this out.
I am seriously P***ed off with the way things have panned out over the past 6-8 months and am entitled to express my opinion as are you, it's just I am prepared to listen to all posters and take a view from there.
