To be fair DS is a car crash, all the companies he is involved with have seen their SP drop by substantial amounts. Thats not trolling but fact. He does seem to do so very strange finance deals and I am perplexed as to why the rest of the board go along with it.!!

So Mike issued an RNS with what was at the time a relatively small drop in SP so the question is will he now do the same with the reverse happening.

Whilst i agree the drill should take a lot less time (30 days is estimate) the sidetrack is the lower levels where they experience so many problems last time with pressures etc. The rig needs to be up to the job and able to drill a clean hole straight to the target. We don't want the same problems again with pumping endless amounts of mud down the hole.

I like to call it realism, we need a rig with 2000HP !!

lets hope not built 1978 with 2017 refurb (bodge up) and only 1500HP, sounds like last rust bucket!

Not a snowballs chance that's going to happen, the rig would have had to be chosen and contracts signed by now to achieve that. November / December earliest is my opinion but more than happy if sooner!

I'd say because the rig is not yet booked and on site, past experience does rather suggest slippage.

Good to get an update but not exactly lit up the buying and SP. The lifting of the seizure had to happen as it was not legal due to joint ownership of assets so no surprise. It doesn't in anyway strengthen the case of AAOG claim in Paris so lets not get carried away.
Two rigs available with slots this year means drilling in next 4 months so one would expect more news on this very soon. This seems quite a complex sidetrack with work needed to be done to make the well secure first, really hoping all goes OK but suspect 30 days maybe a tad optimistic.

Yet not a single share traded so far today.

Thank you GingrBear for a civil response. The positive will outweigh the negatives if the management can deliver. My point is they don't instil confidence from past practices.

I'm absolutely amazed how some folk think that anyone that doesn't only post positive posts is considered a troll. In the past two years this company has managed to hire a clapped out rig, put it on a dodgy pad and massively overun in time and costs to stop short of optimum target.
Now I agree the results from the well are very encouraging but there have been so many errors, false statements, U turns and total lack of transparency that i find it hard to believe that not even the most loyal ramper doesn't feel some frustration at times.
The CPR debacle proves the point, for weeks and weeks folk on this board were posting comments of anticipation of a great CPR and how we shall see a massive uplift in SP on its publication. DS decides to postpone it, don't need it he says and everyone says OK Dave thats fine, well it's not fine! License details still not sorted. Previous fundraising, disasters with short selling and one more dilutive package after another.
The murky world of ATOG and buddy, buddy deals until caught out. Problems with rig owners over payments and compensation, it's just a list of errors and bad management and yet some on here just won't listen to anything negative. Given hope of 102 and 101 producing 400 bopd using water injection, but the project shelved!
The SP is where it is because of what has happened and not what we hope will happen, I have yet to be convinced that DS and JB are up to the job but live in hope.

Only problem with that blog is that it was written a month ago and some of the points he raises as scaremongering have actually happened since it was written. Iceburg has on several occasions posted things that he believes to be true and are latter found not to be the case.

This looks very much like forward selling into an arranged funding deal. The lender knows the price so sells short all the way down till it reaches that price and then gets shares back when loan is given .That stinks and if that is what MK was referring to when he stated they had a couple of offers of funding then he knew all along this would happen.

Getting silly now. At this rate any fund raise is going to be at same price as last on (2.5p). I suggest MK is bombarded with mails and messages of disapproval, he can't keep doing this!!

Can see the person offering to do finance @ 5.2p backing out if SP keeps dropping.
