So with DS and JB obviously laying the foundations for some sort of different tack does the following post from another site make just a little bit of sense.

MESK has just posted in LSE...internal news out AAOG will not commence with drilling in Congo and there are no rigs plus weather conditions for now going onto next March is not ideal for drilling. They have concluded to allow an external company consider buying them out due to that crook DS...So basically from last year Sp 19p to 10P is at a stage of lowest ever 2.8p...no pathway for recovery...too much slyness this whole year hence no easy resolution...

If PSA was sorted we would have had an RNS as that would be of sufficient importance to have an affect on SP.
It was reported that JB was going to Congo in October but it appears we don't know when, has he been and returned or not yet gone. There was no guarantee the terms would be finally completed in this meeting which if they have not would explain the lack of news .
Still can't see any hope of drilling in 2019.

I just wish JB would stick to the job in hand and get the rig and licence sorted for 103C. Don't like this multitasking and especially as he still apppears to be best buddies with DS.
Gives me impression they are just looking after their own personal interests rather than that of AAOG shareholders.

Morningsun you make a valid point however AAOG have already received confirmation that they will receive a 25 year renewal.
If memory serves me correctly I believe that new licences are never renewed more than 6 months before the expiry date of the previous one which would mean January before this would happen. However one would hope that the terms would have been agreed way before hand and released via RNS.

Tiburn I'm not trashing my own investment. What I'm doing is pointing out the short falls of the company and my utter frustration at the lack of progress. This is fact and I'm sorry I can't just keep quiet about it and accept these factors. My opinions won't make diddly squat to the SP but at least I can look myself in the mirror and know I'm not just prepared to only listen to the rose tinted glasses brigade.
I shall be delighted when we renter 103C again but until then I'm afraid i shall continue to ask questions.

Averaging down is Ok if the trend reverses otherwise your just catching a falling knife. The share doesn't seem to be able to go blue 2 days in a row which kind of indicates any rumours of news soon were just that rumours.
Theres no way only 400K shares would have been traded in first four hours if news was imminent.

The problem is the SP has dropped so much many need a 5 bagger or more just to break even.

That long list from Tiptop is absolutely worthless unless they get the oil out. To do that they need a rig - Book the rig and then lets get excited but in the meantime no news causes concern and past experience has shown things rarely go to plan with this company.
