Good to hear from you and also that things went well in Midlands.
I was in a riverside pub, one of my favourites, for lunch today, pre pandemic it was heaving at lunchtimes, half full today.
My guess is people are still adjusting to the lifting of restrictions, it may take a few months before normality really returns.

How much higher can this realistically rise, it certainly has its wings on these past few days doesn't it ?
I have been a holder for some years, traded around my core position but always really liked the yield in my sipp, not to mention the capital performance, perhaps I shouldn't but I keep thinking of the current price in its old form, which at present is £13.60.
A hell of a rise for sure & I am not complaining, just wondering out loud.

Very positive T/u from Bell this morning which underlines what JIM announced very recently, it seems like platforms are a sweet place to be at present.
Beauty with JIM though is the yield as well.

The discharger uses Young's numbers as a puff for Mars, totally ignoring to mention that last week Young's sold 56 of its 73 tenanted pubs for £53mill, whilst MARS took on the probable poisoned chalice of running roughly the same number from Brains.

I see the same payment last year was 14p or in the new form 3.5p, naturally I'd be delighted to see the divi more than double, especially after a chunky 8.5p special this month but what is your thought process to come up with 8p.
Earlier I tried to estimate a safe assumption for this FY and came to 14p. I hope that may prove low but nobody seemed to disagree with it in a major way, until now with your suggestion of 8p for a single quarter !

They were a steal weren't they, I see during the covid collapse in March/April 2020 I made 3 buys between 369 & 390 which is sub £1 in this new form but the bulk of them came in somewhat higher, perhaps this is why I don't get too carried away with the divi predictions which are made, unless I understand why Father Christmas is going to appear more than once a year !

I'm an each way betting man, but I do love the 30% tax rebate on vct's eis instruments....

Always interesting to see before an aim tip in IC there is often a shaking of the tree (by the MM's presumably), then a quick spurt up before the tip, etc etc.

Lo & behold, they are now offering a webinar (29 July 4pm) to inform people of the difference between EIS & VCT, one has to say that if their potential customers don't know the difference they should not be looking to invest in these instruments.....

I couldn't understand why there was no offer for 20/21.
Every other established vct seemed to be going gangbusters that year.
Wonder if it is because the old owners are no longer locked in ?
