you might of course right about not shipping in 'good faith' however I do find it a little puzzling to reconcile that with the stated 'request to petition jointly for the removal restrictions' on shipping AND the subsequent authority handed reinforcing permission to ship $10M of it by the court in any event ... be that as it may though as if I was the bank I'd have said no in any event.

we also announced the appointment of a shipping manager & shipping broker in Jun .... I wonder what they've been up to / paid for from then to now.

I don't need defending cause but thank you, the only way Lithium gets any reward here is by goading others to respond or engage with it...I've tried to tell you he really isn't worth the time or effort but if you feel you must you must, but I really would take anything it says with a pinch of salt.

@legalease to be blunt if you'd been in here the last few years you'd have found me being one of the most anti BoD apparently negative (in many people's views) posters here & none of the history or my views on it has changed.... I'm positive about Amapa as much because of the way this particular deal/project 'appears' to have been structured as its potential .. so being negative really is no indicator of holding shares or not.

indeed Iamrich the contract could be finalised & announced anytime from now to the end of the year, however don't forget that announcement came with a statement indicating that the courts would be petitioned jointly to allow shipments by removing the banks objection, unfortunately the higher court ruled that lower courts ruling to permit shipments was announced the day before a booking for an iron ore ship showed up on the Santana port schedule.... hence the BUZZ over whether it was for DEVS ore, nobody guaranteed it & it was never proven/indicated otherswise until YapYap noticed the post on the ports facebook page (well done MD :-))

if others did not read, accept or understand the caveats that most posters included, then hopefully a lesson has been learnt & in the future people will conduct their own research, make up their own minds & invest/buy/sell accordingly without throwing blame elsewhere.

i agree that the speculation should have been addressed by the BoD but it wasn't & additionally we don't yet know who bought Vila Nova or whose Been appointed as shipper & broker for DEVS ore.

from other posts I assume the Bi-polar brat has got nappy rash again (usually happens when the SP falls & he gets the gripes over his 'paper' losses) & is busy berating & blaming anyone who thought that in the absence of evidence otherwise the Xin may have been for DEVs ore.... personally I'd take more notice & put more credence by what's in its nappy than it's written.

Not for me I'd say once again that assumption, guesswork & hope have been overtaken by reality, performance & disappointment, not for the first time with Cadence & the wait goes on .....

as I said the other day, I don't think Eldorado have any intent to restart ops at Vila Nova & their clear willingness to sell supports that.

It might however be of great interest to someone restarting an operation close by once all the hurdles to do so are crossed.

...personally I'm not giving Umamgen any credence for shipment currently for the reasons I've already given .... non starter in my opinion so not wasting my time on it........ although one thought did cross my mind....... if Eldorado found someone to sell it to in Nov last year 'pending' finance .... who suddenly found an interest in Iron ore in the region around that time & initially indicated shipments to start back then & might already have had expansion plans in mind but haven't been able to follow through yet because the original plans & time frames have been delayed to ............. now???? hmmmm long shot way out in space somewhere or a penny drop!!!!

Vila Nova
Vila Nova was placed on care and maintenance late in the fourth quarter of 2014. A nominal amount of iron ore was processed and shipped in the first quarter of 2015 while preparing the plant for shutdown.

@MLQ exactly - which is exactly the same as I've been saying as well - each to their own thoughts, make your own mind up, act accordingly & believe nothing you read here without verifying it for yourself.

.....@Obs ..... my opinion? .... well for what it's worth I think the Ore being shipped is all DEV's stockpiled, my reasoning for this is (as we all know )

Vila Nova was placed on C&M late 2014 & in my opinion the below (from Eldorado q1 2015) indicates that any remaining stocks were processed & shipped in 2015 - so in MY opinion they don't currently have any stocks to ship.

additionally they seem to have been mostly focussed on their Gold assets (which has also seen a good recovery this year) also if they were 'intending to restart mining @ Vila Nova & had got to a point of shipping they'd have been required to announce this ... it's not a free ride to restart a mine.

finally the reason I personally (everyone else make your own minds up) is the haphazard, last minute booking & subsequent delays that occurred the day after it was announced that the judgement permitting shipment by the lower court was upheld.

a ship is a ship - doesn't matter who owns it they won't want it sitting idle & a charter is a charter so long as the payments secured ... they're also costly to lay up.
