Bit of a odd relationship, sounds like a valirx would incur a fee evey time Tarquin answered a email. Well if he isn't salaried there isn't much more to say.

I have been lucky to get email from him (perfectly polite and professional - I think Freddie would have forwarded it too you) but all my other emails are ignored. Like I said this is not about enmity only that if I were earning that sort of salary I would have some stock emails to fire out if I needed to give a responce, but couldn't risk disclosing sensitive information. I would mostly likely give an indication that when the company says an update is immenient, that immenient means within 3, 6, 9 or 12 months so that shareholder expectations are managed. Likewise I would probably put periodic updates on the company website, say a mini blog once a month or once a quarter , just to say that talks were on going, that talks were concentrating on a smaller number of potential trading partners or that the company had approached new investment partners or other quick updates on trails and compounds that would make it look like work is actively being done but wouldn't require a RNS, rather than the silence that seems to be the norm. That's my idea of what 100k l average salary would look like.

My issue with Tarquin is not that I have any personal enmity towards him, only that based on average salaries what he delivers is below par. You might want to excuse him by saying its all GM, but if that were true then I would expect a professional to have an issue with the boss interferring and resign. Tarquin however continues to take the money and demonstrates his complicity with the status quo.

Hi Roses, congrats on your acquisition. What do you think of property value over the next few years. I rent out my old flat, but starting to think that it might have been better to sell it instead as I don't know if I will be able to sell it for what it was worth 2 years ago anytime soon.

To be fair to GM and SV I don't think they will have much of a property portfolio. Given the change in rules on tax relief, you really wouldn't want to get into property unless you were a cash buyer, buy to let would not be the way to go. Sure they have decent salaries but don't think they could afford to pay for more than 1 or possibly 2 properties. Much more likely that their rumoured buy to let's are just a red herring.

I don't feel guilty or responsible at all for the mess we are in.
This company is a shambles.
I don't see how shareholder actions can make things worse at this point. A director that can't take contol and mange the situation isn't worth having. If GM and SV want to stay in place or rescue the company they need to act, need to sent the direction, need to demonstrate that they are the solution.
I wouldn't be surprised if they just shut up shop and called in the administrators instead.

But when there is bad news ValiRx are very good about coming forward and don't varnish at all.

Just read the news item posted. Reading through it I don't know what the ponit of consolidation if there is doubt creditors will be willing to extend their support to enable potential funding to occur.
All looks like a lost cause at the moment.
Who would want to put their money in now in light of this statement?

Just got Corp action from Halifax adving consolidation has been cancelled. Also mentioned adjournment of EGM. Does this mean that the consolidation was cancelled because of the adjournment or are the two things seperate and the consolidation voted down?

Arguably if the purpose of the meeting is to release the results of the vote on consolidation you could make a half hour video, post it on the company website, release an RNS adving of 5 working days (say) to submit questions and then publish another RNS to formalise the position

I know Tarquin isn't a director, but given the choice I would get rid of him too. Replace him with someone who could manage email corrispondence. It's not hard to send generic holding emails or remind people that sensitive information cannot be disclosed. Simply ignoring emails is not a way to manage shareholder expectations.

That article is interesting, but as the article says if you have been in for the last 5 years you would be 98% down. In they year since that article I am down 99.6 down. Nothing has happened in the last year from the company ponit of view except for the continued issue of shares. From a shareholder ponit of view, moving from a 98 % down has resulted in a colossal loss of confidence and its no longer just (really) small timers like me who are calling for change.

I think the best thing to do is to ping a quick email to tarquin and cc in the info@address too and ask if there is reason why share orders cannot be placed and if this has some connection with the proposed share consolidation.
I don't intend to do any buying or selling myself. But I can send the email if someone wants me to?

Rightback if you Google lse aim regulator you get directed to contact details for making complaints to the regulator. Just have to be clear what you want want to complain about if you do want to make a complaint

Money for nothing? The problem with angering shareholders is that we end up seeking out videos like the Edinburgh presentation. GM stated a goal to sell Val401. A year on not sold. Any RNS advising of progress or giving reassurance that efforts /discussions still going on? No. What would you conclude? Their lack of coms is a real own goal.
