The news yesterday was astounding but what they left out, it was quite revealing that there is so much more to come. You can see that with the images of the Main Dome pit “it’s shown BLANK” it’s not included.

Loads of other things missed out due to not enough hours in the day to include them all.

The next MRE in June could show 12 years not 8 years.

This is a negative thread, you lot need to get your heads round we are sat on 2 major developments and not concentrating on Havieron start.

We have at least 8 years full production from a remnant mine, underneath this mine is a major development opportunity. It’s close to infrastructure , models and mine plans well advanced. What’s classed as a probable mirage image of the main dome, possibly huge in nature some drill results higher than Havieron.

More time on designing & exploring Havieron will provide a more sustainable and safer project. The extra time not delay will include less debt needed, there’s a vast cost pre production of Havieron. Any extra time will be a cost saving if you can’t see the vast sums coming from Telfer and want to push for Havieron production that could be a costly mistake.

My presentation last night reflected the opinion that Telfer is becoming a bigger jewel in the Ggp crown. The AISC low cost at Havieron will not take account of getting ore to Telfer, it’s going to take time to get sufficient ore stockpiles to Telfer whereas ore from the West Dome Deeps has no transport issues.

Your mindsets needs to change.

It looks like none of the zones removed from Newmont’s MRE have been included apart from stages 7 & 8 and they’ve been increased dramatically and still drilling there, so will increase again.

Havieron is unique with cut off interpretation, the sulphides need to be kept separate as the NSR cut off at $80 brings in higher grades at around 3mt per year. The PFS cut off at $130 removed all but >3g/t so the tonnage production was at @2mt. The low cut off price used is very low but won’t effect that quantity of ore but it makes lower sulphides in the link and Eastern breccia more viable and will move into an indicated resource from inferred.

The low price however affects the lower grade ores considerably expanding the estimating boundaries and increasing the classification within the ore body.

Mreefs classification reduced due to the estimation method changed from Kriging to MIK method.

That’s due to the drill spacings not being close enough.

Drill working around there now so should come back into the indicated quantities.

Hi Red it’s the first time they’ve charged us, we collected £96 last time for the pubs McMillan charity.

The O’Callaghans MRE was last issued in December 2023 when the copper price was below $4/lb. The value in the copper there could be far more valuable now at nearly $5 and forecasted to rise sharply to $5.2

At the old prices O’Callaghans had an NSR cut off value of $80 bearing in mind Havieron sulphides are at that level. The NSR is the economical value at which that grade of ore can be extracted economically, so when the price goes higher lower grades of ore come into the $80 category.

I’ve read that the cut offs are anything above 1m in depth so with a higher price this would mean more ore of weaker grades or ore which is dearer to extract can be retrieved.

151,000 ton of contained copper

181,000 ton contained tungsten

Ggp will not be producing the final product, they will be producing a tungsten powder from the copper concentrate about.

Tungsten and tungsten powder are 2 different materials.

It would probably come as a credit from a copper concentrate about $300-$350 per ton.

They may decide to retrieve it at Telfer with a new section on the plant but it looks like they will off take it to specialists.

I’m still learning about Telfer and picked up more useful information about the West Dome Saddle, Main Dome , ESC and the WD Deeps which I’ve not really shared yet.

I would like to point out that my presentations are my own thoughts and not the companies and don’t want payment but there are room charges that I’ve paid for £50 at Stroud so any contributions would be gratefully received 🙂

There’s tungsten at Havieron.

According to the Damien Stevens presentation it shows a late intrusion in the sulphides coming up into the north end of the sulphide crescent. This end of the crescent isn’t as deep as the southern end from around 450m to 750m.

The presentation shows that this end had more intrusions into it than elsewhere and is rich in mineralisation but long and narrow.

The existing mine plan is showing a long hole stope right through the centre of it following the sulphides till it hits the Dyke. It’s this operation that will slow up the stoping and make retrieving more than 3mt per year difficult.

There should be a lot of credits coming out of the copper concentrate from this zone.

At the lower end of it is a diorite where a gold intercept of 0.3m @ 639g/t was located.

Certainly one of the better zones for mineralisation.

Gervais is new chairman of Buxton Resources, I think he’s got his work cut out turning this firm around. Recently announced $3m loss.

WA licences are in middle of nowhere not close to infrastructure.

The 2 Canning licences of Ggp which were relinquished are close to Shogun and Royale
