My main point I was trying to get over at Theale “What is under the high grade zone”
From the RNS:-
“Additionally, drilling has intercepted several broad zones of stockwork mineralisation within the core of the anticlinal hinge. These zones are interpreted to be similar in style to the large stockwork systems that formed part of the mineralisation targeted by the sub-level cave at the Main Dome Underground. Since these zones were not the primary focus of the initial drilling phase, they will be targeted in future drilling programs. ”
Only a handful of drills through here but this is full of stockwork with at the moment high grade pods ranging from 1.76g/t to 5.03g/t eq. This is right the way along the 700m. It could be 250-300m wide weakening grades to the east . The historical drills are indicating 400m overall depth but could be open wherever the fluid pathway comes up. I believe this pathway will be on the west side of this stockwork in a fault line, this is where the stockwork will be more fractured more so than the east side, therefore more cracks and veins filled with quartz with the mineralisation.
At a 0.5 g/t cut off there could be 3m+ but the grades in those intercepts are higher.
This is only my theory and shouldn’t be taken as will happen but everything is pointing to significant sub level caving maybe 3 or 4 in a row.
Shaun mentioned using a conveyor to get the ore out, the RNS inferred that there is significant capacity in the underground crusher and hoist.
NB:- the 700m is still open both ways and this anticline has had historical drill testing over 3km. The 700m doesn’t look to include the fluid pathway under the northern pit in the west dome which could extend it.
